MAR 1: Tactical Incursion (The Kassae Scenario)

Federation interests have been challenged on the planet of Kassae V. Five months ago, the established government, previously in support of a Federation alliance, suffered a military takeover that has not made the civilian populace's well-being their priority. The remnant forces and supporters of the shattered government have called on assets from Starfleet to help in an upcoming assault mission for a key stronghold that could have a turning point effect on the insurgency as a whole.

Participating officers have been asked to select one or two trusted individuals from their respective crews/staffs to join the assaulting ground teams, while senior Argo officers will gather aboard DS13's Tactical station to plan the broader strokes of the assault.

When: MAR 1, Gamma

Where: DS13 Tactical Level

What: A tactical/logical simulation of planning a series of assaults in the midst of possible conspirators. For this scenario, the play will be cooperative and team-based. In other words, it will be the event participants vs the GM (Katriel). Players of all disciplines are welcome as there is no combat, but 'tactical'-minded characters are admittedly more likely to feel at home here.
