With more pressing matters now in the past, Starfleet has decided that the time is right to return its attention to the issue of "Species 2492" - a dangerous potential enemy residing just barely beyond the range of the Federation's current exploratory efforts. All prior interactions with Species 2492 have resulted in hostilities, often with disastrous results. In advance of future planned missions, Argo Command and DS13 Intelligence are hosting an open briefing session for personnel to (re-)familiarize themselves with relevant information and the latest developments.
