Being the report of Commander Nymas,

At time and date stated officer was present aboard Q ship S.S. Greene, which is a Tuffli-class merchant vessel of the 'Rakinon' subclass for a raid on a slaving outpost known to be referred to by dissident alien elements as 'Perdition Station' which is Dragus 2a, in the Kassae Sector. Officer was present beforehand for briefing which bears no significant impact on events. Officer made appropriate notes and appeared present and correct in all respects.

At 23:01 ship local time the vessel entered the Dragus system as above and officer managed the communications station on the bridge espying on vessels in system to determine location and activity of mission object 'Perdition' (Vessels IDs: RISKY BUSINESS - Bajoran JALBADOR-class armed merchant - Pre 23rd C Bajoran cruiser, now classed auxiliary armed merchantman see ID 203312, LAST MISTAKE - Lekaari GAUNTLET-class light cruiser - commerce protection light cruiser, available on commercial market since last year, HEAVY MESSING - JUDY-type Federation 'raider', Maquis modified light corvette VRM unknown).

Officer was able to determine from ship comm traffic that station location was in orbit around Dragus 2 and informed Commander Tau Thiessen then commanding S.S. Greene. Vessel approached using camouflage and subterfuge as civilian freighter with currency to trade for live cargo. On approach to station officer set up CONTINGENCY ONE to permit egress following attack (Large file-size computer attack delivered through insecure systems of JALBADOR-class vessel, assistance from Federation CPO ASTER N). Officer also discovered that station was protected by high-intensity dampening field which would render energy weapons and personal shielding less effective, officer determined armed attack less likely to succeed and planned for covert subversion of station systems using false flag type action.

Main force infiltration followed during which officer set in place CONTINGENCY TWO, obtaining and utilizing of primary target login ID. Target DAVIS, was conversing animatedly with ASTER. Officer removed himself to maintenance area where he incapacitated one human station technical staff by the application of a pneumatic bolt tightening device to the skull producing catastrophic neurological shock, hemorrhage and death. Officer used this uniform to sabotage internal systems and produce falsified maintenance team report.

Using stolen uniform and report, officer approached target DAVIS and used tactical communication skills to direct him to use a maintenance terminal to check report. DAVIS established that report was not genuine and directed officer to take new orders to subordinates of DAVIS. During this exchange officer saw and memorized DAVIS login ID which was displayed on terminal behind him insecurely while login process underway. Having done this officer observed ASTER approaching DAVIS to conduct honeypot type attack judging that serious risk of major harm was present officer moved up timescale of attack and informed Doctor POHL who is Federation officer, of infiltration route and directed reinforcing team members to that location.

When allied units reached RV point at CARGO FOUR freight lift, officer logged in using DAVIS ID and deleted global address and permissions list from station computer, disabled all station security systems of offensive or inhibititive nature and upgraded CARGO FOUR freight lift to top priority for routine and power. Officer then cut power to lighting systems in cargo-bay to present DAVIS from using firearms effectively against ASTER and activated decompression audio alarm in accommodation section to create confusion in hostile reinforcements. Officer then retired to S.S. Greene main airlock to hold it for arrival of allied units.

At this point officer was beamed aboard S.S. Greene for return to staging area. Officer triggered CONTINGENCY ONE by utilizing tactical communications to persuade Federation officer of rank Lieutenant known to this officer as 'ROSE' to sent code phrase to RISKY BUSINESS causing the dissemination of the attack program and large file data. Target saturation point reached after 0.003 seconds after which station data core melted down under extreme thermal load owing to sabotage during course of CONTINGENCY TWO. Officer judges it low/none risk that enemy will recover information implicating officer in any action.

All objectives complete, DAVIS recovered, refugees recovered (including VIPs) and hostile terrorists recovered. All in Federation custody at time of report.

On Stardate 93193, S.S. Greene, under my command, departed DS13. The mission as outlined was to travel to the station known as Perdition as outlined in Intelligence reports previously submitted - Dragus system, Kassae sector.

On arrival in the system utilizing the re-purposed vessel, it was determined via analysis of comms chatter the station in the system that is known as 'Peridition'. It should be noted several stations populate this system. On approach we were contacted by station comms. Permission for entry was given swiftly after the person on comms ensured that we were indeed not 'xeno' fans, as they put it, using this term for non-human aliens.

Acknowledgment of their rules required we remove weaponry of any sort from all non-human crew. Unfortunately, as it was necessary to our completion of the task at hand, we did as needed. All non-human officers were given the chance to opt out and remain on the ship. Additionally , each human carried a minimum of two weapons to ensure all could be armed if necessary.

Per suggestion by Lieutenant Kermit we modified all weapons to be able to emit a phaser charge within the dampening field.

On-station, we disembarked and the crew began investigating. Given the nature and the objective, as well as the varied skill sets of the crew, I remained in a position from which to watch them all and ensure nothing got out of hand. I will provide you with the recording, Captain, but all officers involved improvised admirably.

Harvey Davis - the owner of Perdition - was located by multiple members of the team. Chief Petty Officer Aster and Commander Nymas, utilizing different techniques, gained direct access to him and his information. Commander Nymas utilized some degree of infiltration and coding technique, disguising himself as a worker and compromising the security systems in the Cargo Bay the Zantaari had been identified in. Additionally worth noting, CPO Aster was able to get Davis to lead her to the entrance of the cargo bay.

Once security and power to the area were compromised, I sent Captain Nimitz, Commander Kozath and Commader Pohl in to ensure Davis apprehended. Given 90 seconds of downtime, the crew evacuated to the ship and all remaining shipboard crew utilized the modified transportation system to retrieve not only the remaining 2817 Zantaari slaves, but an additional 500 other alien species (slaves, also, from our determination), and 100 members of the Sons of Paxton group.

It should also be noted that Davis, the leader of this group, is a genetic Cardassian. We will need to keep this in mind and it may be useful to contact the Cardassian government to determine possible True Way links.

We escaped without having to fire a shot, without pursuit.

In all this mission was extremely successful. Unfortunately it does appear some of the Zantaari have likely been killed in the process, given the numbers we were able to retrieve.

It should be mentioned that given the situation and the uncertainty of all areas of this mission, the officers I had the honor of leading did an amazing job. This degree of success should be attributed to their ingenuity. A great deal of their efforts aren't easily related in this report but I will submit a verbal report in person regarding their actions.

Commander Tau Thiessen
Acting Commanding Officer, DS13 Command.

Addendum: Commander Nymas raised a good point when suggesting Intel should be fully debriefed on our actions aboard Perdition. Faces may be recognized in the future if and when we deal with the Sons of Paxton's associates. Given the suggestion, I would further suggest all officers inform intel of their involvement directly for the most efficient use of shipboard officers' time. The sooner the better.
