15 Jun: Map the Potter's Field Anomaly

Briefing:
Three months ago, the USS Myanmar encountered a dangerous area of space in the Kelterre Sector that has come to be known as the Potter's Field Anomaly. As exploration missions probe further into the sector, the need for an accurate mapping of this navigational hazard has increased in urgency. The USS Asimov has been tasked with charting the borders of the field.

GM / OOC Contact: @bobisgod171

IC Location: Kelterre Sector

OOC Requirements: This mission is designed for DS13 Crewmembers. Junior officers from other ships are welcome to come along, but I would prefer no Captains.

OOC Notes: This will run on Thursday, 15 June @ gamma shift. Bring your imaginations, because you will have the freedom to figure out how to do accomplish the mission, without GM-handholding.

Tilly will go as mission specialist if that's okay, she was the CO on the original mission.
I did intend to follow up on Tilly asking Alina to look into this (and had some ideas for mapping even) but time and RL stalled me on getting stuff to you Tilly. I apologize for that.

As it stands now though, it makes sense to go ahead with this as is. Alina is ICly unavailable now. If Cadets are allowed as part of DS13 crew members, this could be a good first chance for Rumiho to get some field experience.
Caspius is an expert in space cartography--it is what he specialised in, before he arrived on Deep Space 13. He will absolutely be chomping at the bit for this mission and so will definitely be in attendance.

Since this is Caspius' kinda thing, Tau is so going to sit this out. However, I might still pop in on Zack for a little elfie engineering :)

Just wanted to say, Draz and her shiny new science vessel would be up for leading assignments like this, in the future, if there are any to be had.
Good luck with this one. (Don't get caught!)
buuummmp. This is tonight!
