BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
Settra was born on Romulus in 2376, in the aftermath of the Dominion war. When she was 6, the Hobus supernova destroyed the planet. Settra and her 8 year old sister were among the few able to escape the homeworld prior to its destruction. The memories from that day still gives Settra nightmare nearly 30 years later.
Sadly, Settra's parents were unable to escape Romulus's destruction and died as a result, leaving her and her sister both refugees and orphans. They were on their own from that day on.
After spending several years in an orphanage the two young girls struck out on their own, mainly living out a semi-nomadic existence as they tried to find a place to settle peacefully.
Finally one day, many years into their lifestyle, the two sisters heard rumors of a possible new homeworld selected for the Romulan people, which was being called New Romulus. Upon Settra's convincing both sisters made their way to New Romulus, and subsequently joined the Republic Military. Settra as a tactical officer, her sister joined Intelligence.
Settra's previous duty is as an official currier between the Republic and its allies, but now she serves as the executive officer of the RRW Adjacian.
An incident is rumored to have occurred on Mol'Rihan where Settra got drunk and spouted loudly and obnoxiously her desire to one day see Romulans and Vulcans united once more as one species. The event allegedly occurred in front of a Senator's aid, and so embarrassed the Subcommander and her superior, that she was transferred to dead-end duty as punishment.
