BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Hans Mengs is likely the son of Arthur Mengs, a member of the Maquis rebellion who was not captured or killed. Arthur Mengs went into hiding with his ship, the 'Eagle Eye,' at a yet-unknown location. He appeared to have fathered a son with an Orion woman. There is very little information on the family during this time.

Almost 30 years after the fall of the Maquis, a ship identified as former Maquis raider 'Eagle Eye' suddenly began making appearances across the Alpha and Beta quadrants. It garnered a large amount of criminal charges, mostly for smuggling and smuggling related offenses. Information eventually reached Starfleet of its captain, identified as 'Mengs.' Starfleet Intelligence initially assumed this to be Arthur Mengs, but later revelations from several trusted sources about his age, his half-Orion heritage and his full name being 'Hans Mengs' seemed to indicate that this was the son of Arthur Mengs.
