BIOGRAPHICAL HIGHLIGHTS

Koriya was born on a planet with a lower than normal gravity. She had what was considered a normal childhood there, and showed a tendency towards scientific pursuits from quite a young age. Her interest in geological sciences was considered quite natural for a planet filled with crystals and nicknamed “Gemworld.”

Her decision to apply for, and acceptance into, Starfleet Academy came as a surprise to her family. They fought against her decision, reminding her what she would have to suffer in order to fufill that dream. She chose to go anyway.

Halfway through her tenure at the Academy, Koriya chose to undergo the irreversible procedure that would adjust her body to the pull of gravity of her chosen environment.

She graduated from the Academy and was assigned to the U.S.S. Windmore as a junior science officer. She worked as an assistant on several projects, developing more skills in the laboratory.

Her next assignment was the U.S.S. Heavenward. There, she was also a science officer, but was able to begin a long-distance program to pursue and advanced degree. During the course of her assignment, she completed a Master's program in planetary geology. She was also promoted to a Lieutenant, Junior Grade.

Three years after the Heavenward, Lieutenant Junior Grade Trizar was transferred to the U.S.S. Elizabeth. There, she continued to pursue scholastic studies in addition to her science officer duties, and completed a Master's program in seismology. A year later, Koriya is promoted to Lieutenant and made Chief Science officer.

In 2414, the Lieutenant was made Lieutenant Commander. Shortly thereafter, Koriya attended Advanced Command Training and prepared for command line duties. At that time, she was made the Second Officer of the U.S.S. Elizabeth.

Three years after making Lieutenant Commander, she was promoted to Commander. Later that year she was transferred to the U.S.S. San Francisco, as Executive Officer.

MEDICAL HISTORY

PHYSICAL HEALTH ASSESSMENT
STATUS: OK for active duty
UP TO DATE: Y
EVALUATOR: Doctor Mick Corneliuss

NOTES: Is in excellent physical health overall, the enhancement to the motor cortex neural network has stimulated good health and fitness and allowed the subject to maintain a normal life in Earth-normal gravity. However, due to the enhancement, she cannot return to low-gravity and must not perform EV maneuvers.

MENTAL HEALTH ASSESSMENT
STATUS: OK for active duty
UP TO DATE: Y
EVALUATOR: Lieutenant Cordock

NOTES:As an Elaysian serving in Starfleet, Koriya has had to make a difficult choice. Either spend her life confined to a grav-chair or body-frame and many difficulties with normal activities or undergo a life-altering procedure, which permits her to function normally, but denies her any chance of returning home. She has chosen the latter, severing the ability to return to her family and making her career in Starfleet her first priority. This has lent her a rather serious mien.
