Captains,
Though I've worked with many of you in the past there are still more of you I have not met, and so introductions are in order. My name is Vice Admiral Neema Perim, and it is my honor to step into the role of Commander of the 38th Fleet, Argo. I've spent the last few days getting up to speed on recent events in our area of operations, and I'm now looking forward to getting to work.
There's no denying that it's been a chaotic few weeks, so my first order of business will be to ascertain our current operational status and review the current organizational structure. All starship captains are required to submit an operational readiness report to fleet command within the next seven days. The required report is attached to the end of this memo. Squadron Commanders, please stand ready to receive new orders, once my office has compiled the reports.
Next, I would like a face-to-face briefing on each major ongoing situation. Captains spearheading efforts, please reach out to schedule a meeting.
Finally, I would like to extend an offer to each and every one of you to stop by my office for introductions and to discuss any ongoing operations or concerns that you may have. Thank you in advance for your continued exemplary service, and I look forward to working with you.

Next, there are several long-term plots underway, so I'd like to get a sense of what's going on with each, and to put together a summary of where we stand presently, as a fleet (which I will write, don't worry!). To do that, I'd like any of you who are running ongoing plots to send me a PM. If you're the GM, but don't have a character that can brief on it, that's okay, we'll work it out. If you have something to brief on, but are NOT the GM, that's okay too, we'll get it coordinated.
