NARRATIVE: Stardate 94549.9 early warning systems detected a massive Hur'q swarm on course to attack Trill. This force was made of of two large dreadnaught class hive ships as well as two smaller hives ships and a massive amount of support craft and swarmers. Eight ships from the 38'th Fleet were able to form two Task Forces, each targeting the two different vectors of Hur'q ships. I, Captain Quint, lead one Task Group, and Captain Timoreev commanded the other. Each force engaged the first wave of Hur'q craft with minimal damage reported. The initial hive ships were destroyed and the swarms pushed back to the larger dreadnaught class hives. A second engagement by both Task Groups lead to the destruction of both of these ships. Again minimal to no damage was reported. A system sweep turned up no further Hur'q signals, Trill is still secure.
RECOMMENDATION: Recommendations as before, wide use of early warning network and further research into the Hur'q threat.
