Per your orders I looked into the situation with the Cadet and, its officially far more complicated. The short version is that the individual referred to as Cadet Tierno is not the Cadet who enlisted. She was crafted in the image of who they deemed the most promising of the Cadets lost on the Gainsborough.
I have no answer really for who 'They' are but, the set this in motion some time ago. She has been updating them and evaluating us for possible first contact, so she says. I admit I'm having trouble buying the story. IF a person could be so crafted to the point of fooling all our sensors and Medical equipment, and honestly believing they are they person they are an image of, then nothing is saying she couldn't be programed to believe it. In that way she'd never honestly be lying to anyone.
I honestly recommend we allow her to contact her people, and they can either come to that table and explain in detail or they can be told to stay out of our affairs and collect their researcher. Honestly this parties involvement is way more complicated than we ever expected. I'm all for looking into this more but I felt you should know before it proceeds.
