LOCATION: Deep Space 13, Aldebaran Sector, Beta Quardrant
MISSION: Repair environmental and waste disposal systems.
OUTCOME: Environmental systems were repaired successfully. Limited life support restored to physically sealed sections, such as reactor control room and engineering.

NARRATIVE:
Upon arriving at Deep Space 13, an Engineering team beamed aboard the base to begin repairs to the Environmental Systems. While the team worked on the Environmental systems, the Akagi scanned the Starbase to verify the integrity of previous repairs. Commander Peters-Carwell was able to isolate a misaligned auxiliary transfer matrix on Deck 25. A team was sent to realign the matrix.
As soon as main power was brought online, a distress signal from the station was detected. It was determined the message transmitting originated from the stardate of the battle. Engineering teams found the source of the distress signal and deactivated it.
Once Environmental Systems were repaired and power brought online, we made an attempt to bring life support online in areas of the station sealed off. Most of engineering including the reactor control room have had life support returned to them. Myself and a small team of engineers volunteered to remain on the station to monitor systems. The Akagi beamed supplies directly into engineering while returning the rest of the Engineering team to the ship.
RECOMMENDATION: Now that limited life support and power have been restored, sections of the ship currently exposed to space should be sealed off so we can continue to restore functionality to the Starbase. My Engineering team will remain aboard the station until we are relieved to ensure all systems remain functioning at acceptable levels.
