OUTCOME: New Docking ring was successfully reattached to the starbase, and fully tested for ability to hold life support.

NARRATIVE: Upon arrival to the starbase system, the Akagi deployed worker bees, lead by Subcommander tr'Khellian, and EVA repair teams lead by Commander T'irin, Lt Commander Brex and Lt Commander Carwell coordinated tractor beam controls on the new docking ring into position. Once in place the EVA teams and Worker Bee teams started work to reattach the ring into place.
Once the teams had the docking ring in place, Commander Brex tested the ring's ability to hold life support, checking for any hull breaches or gaps in the hull for atmo to vent. Due to a transporter misalignment, a small closet was suddenly over pressurized, causing a minor hull breach into the docking ring. Thanks to the quick thinking of Subcommander tr'Khellian, the missing hull part was quickly recovered and replaced.
Once the hull breach was repaired, the EVA teams and the Worker Bee teams were recalled to the Akagi as Commander Brex used the phaser system on the Akagi to make the finial welding touches to secure the docking ring. After the success of the welding, the new docking ring was again tested for its life support ability. Upon the success of the finial testing, we collected the engineering team on DS13 and rotated them out with a new team.
RECOMMENDATION: I have no current recommendations for command at this time.
OOC: This was an impromptu DS13 repair event run by Caspius on 1/5/19 at Gamma
