LOCATION: Deep Space 13
MISSION: Oversee the return of DS13's 485-member security complement, and sweep all areas of the station must be for anything that is out-of-place. Secure the currently inhabited area.
OUTCOME: All mission objectives completed successfully. In addition, VADM Amiri came aboard with the security complement and was briefed on overall station status.

NARRATIVE: On Stardate 95048.9, DS-13's security staff arrived aboard U.S.S. Victory. Transport of the entire complement of personnel was overseen by CMDR Hanson, with the assistance of transporters aboard Atlantis and Opportunity and their respective commanders, CAPTs Nain and Thiessen. Assisting with the transport in supplemental roles were LCDR E. Kermit and SUBLT Shiarreal. The full transport took approximately thirty minutes to complete, and was conducted without issue.
Personnel brought aboard the station were assigned to the temporary duty roster established by Acting Executive Officer LCDR James Kermit, and assigned to quarters by the Operations department under CMDR Hanson. The Acting Chief of Security, CMDR S'Vesta was brought aboard and given instructions to revise the duty roster according to her plans for the department at this time, and to submit it for approval to the station Executive Officer, as is standard procedure with departmental duty rosters.
Also brought aboard was VADM Amiri, newly-appointed as Commander of the 38th Fleet. The Vice Admiral met with CAPT Caspius and was briefed on the station status. In the course of that briefing, CAPT Caspius was assigned overall command of any ships in DS-13 local space for the purpose of starbase defence. CAPT Caspius also meant with CAPT Quint to discuss the assignment of ships from Taurus squadron for the specific purpose of starbase defence. Following the briefing, VADM Amiri departed the station.
RECOMMENDATION: Per the aforementioned briefing, command should assign at least three ships with optimal defensive capabilities, and the U.S.S. Atlantis, to starbase defence at DS-13.
