R.R.W. INYADAR
Mogai Class Heavy Warbird
The R.R.W. Inyadar is a Mogai-class warbird, currently in service at the Joint Squadron Initiative (JSI), Romulan Republican Navy.
Built in 2379, the Inyadar's maiden cruise was postponed as a result of the chaos following Shinzon's coup against the Senate the same year. The ship was then finally pressed into service in 2380 as part of the 1st Fleet protecting the core sector of the Empire.
The following year, it was one of the units joining the breakaway Imperial Romulan State led by Donatra, and it kept its position in the ranks until the very end of the same State, when Donatra re-joined the Empire.
In 2387, after the destruction of Romulus, the Inyadar fell under the authority of Admiral Taris: as a result, the ship was involved in numerous military operations, all aimed at protecting the remnants of the Empire from the vultures circling around it. In 2390, the Inyadar was part of the task force sent by Admiral Taris to free the colony of Dralath from the siege and blockade imposed by forces loyal to the rival breakaway State of Achernar.
The following year, the ship was assigned to the commander of the former Dralath Planetary Militia, Amarik tr'Viaen, under the flag of the 4th Fleet of Subadmiral Antor.
During the following years, the ship was still involved in many kinds of military operations, mainly with the task of policing interplanetary routes. In 2405, the Inyadar became second flagship of the Imperial 4th Fleet.
For the following four years, the ship got increasingly involved in operations against the nascent Republican movement, scoring an impressive rate of successes, and thus becoming a fearful symbol of Imperial constant presence and vigiliance.
In recognition of her captain's and crew's services, in 2409 the Inyadar was assigned to the escort of Empress Sela on Khitomer, a role it kept until few months later, when the conference of Rator III began.
In the ensuing battle, the Inyadar attacked Starfleet vessels in orbit. However, for unknown reason, it was unable to destroy any of them.
The same week the ship with all hands defected to the Republican Navy. The Inyadar was badly damaged in battle against the I.R.W. Caladan, and it took many months to restore her systems and operational efficiency.
From 2410 to 2414 the Inyadar was mainly used as defense vessel for the Flotilla and Mol'Rihan. Later in 2414, she was assigned again to Commander tr'Viaen, with the task of assisting in the defense of the quadrant against the Iconian onslaught. The ship proved her valour once again during the ensuing months of war.
At the end of it, she returned to her previous duties, before being assigned to the JSI in 2417.
