NARRATIVE: Stardate 95062.7: CAPT Caspius separates DS-13 engineering personnel into two teams, code-named Alpha and Beta. Engineering Team Alpha is transported to local shipyards, completing repairs within satisfactory limits, thus restoring critical shipyard systems and functions. With advising by CAPT Caspius and CAPT Bishop, CAPT Naln and U.S.S. Opportunity [ncc-50207-a] provide transportation to team Beta to disabled transwarp hub. Engineers were beamed aboard hub to restore system power, while Opportunity and assisting runabouts complete physical adjustments to outer rings via tractor beams.
CHF Jhyn'sezia of U.S.S. Opportunity beams aboard to assist Beta Team after scans reveal stress wear to secondary rotary clamps of starboard outer ring. Repairs were accomplished in twenty-four minutes, after which teams returned to normal duties.
After system power was restored, Opportunity and crew returned to DS-13 with Beta Team.
RECOMMENDATION: CAPT E. Naln requests type-3 sensor probes to be placed around transwarp hub in non-intrusive, triangulating positions to collect research data on transwarp phenomena. Recommend command perform secondary sweep of shipyard and hub within next two weeks to ascertain continued success of repairs, and monitor both structures for power fluctuations.
