NARRATIVE: The Akagi and the Zulu were dispatched to find information regarding a ticket that was submitted in our names to the TSTT. We had a list of several ships to track down. The first ship was a Federation cargo vessel that was traveling at low power in fear of local pirates, after searching their logs, we left behind the Delta Flyer 'Unconquered' and two shuttles from the Zulu to escort them to their destination.
Our next ship was a ferengi shuttle that warped away as soon as we hailed them, after following them to a port hub, we lost them in heavy traffic. Before we could try and track them down, we detected a Federation distress call from the surface of the planet. Leading an away team, we unknowingly beamed down in the middle of a firefight. The enemy consisted of five pirates lead by a Gorn. The five pirates were quickly taken down, while the Gorn engaged myself in personal combat, after a quick shuffle, the Gorn was killed.
After the firefight was over, we discovered both Ensign Lara, and Crewman Adonis, who have been MIA since the Azedi attack on DS13 and presumed KIA. Ensign Lara is currently onboard the USS Zulu recovering from her injuries.
RECOMMENDATION: We need to double our anti-piracy patrols in areas that have been lacking since the Battle of DS13.
