BIOGRAPHICAL HIGHLIGHTS
Aaron Tanaka was born on the 19th of June 2383 in London, Earth, to Kenji and Yukie Tanaka and has an older brother named Alex Tanaka. Kenji Tanaka was the Captain of the USS Vesper while his mother worked aboard as a xenoanthropologist. After his graduation from Starfleet academy as a pilot, he was assigned to the same ship as his father, but due to a familial dispute, Captain Tanaka eventually assigned Aaron to security, although Aaron did manage to get a position at the helm after two years.
His time on the Vesper would be short lived, however, as his parents were killed during the attack on Earth Space Dock in 2413. Aaron requested a transfer off the Vesper and was assigned to the Excelsior class USS Geneva, registry number NCC-1822-B. He worked aboard for approximately four years, attaining the rank of Commander and the position of First Officer, before tragedy struck once more.
During the Battle over DS9 against the Hurq, his ship was destroyed and his captain, Henry Avery, captured. What remained of the crew of the Geneva boarded the USS Singapore, where Aaron had to take on the role of Acting Captain. The ship managed repair itself and chase the Hurq ship bearing Captain Henry Avery down not too far from DS9. Upon retrieving Captain Avery, they returned to DS9. Unfortunately, Captain Avery died of complications from wounds sustained aboard the Hurq ship. Aaron Tanaka has since taken over as Captain of the Singapore.
Aaron’s older brother, Alex, was also a Starfleet officer, but during the attack on Earth Spacedock in 2413, he went missing and has yet to be found.
