BIOGRAPHICAL HIGHLIGHTS

Tarm Wallunga was born to Talia and Hamish Wallunga on Earth in the north-central region of the North American Zone. Born as the only son of the CEO of Wallunga Shipping and Freight, it was long expected that Tarm would one day inherit the family company. Tarm himself, however, had other plans. The entirety of his youth was spent wondering about all the stars in the night sky, and the alien civilizations that were bound to those distant suns. As soon as he was able, he applied for and gained entry into Starfleet Academy, and spent his academic years learning about space exploration to the point where he majored in astrophyics (specializing in Stellar Cartography). Upon completion of his academy years, he was assigned to the Anchora and then later to the Wallachia; the latter of which he served on during the opening months of the Klingon War that erupted in 2409. During one mission in particular, along the Klingon Front, then-Lieutenant Wallunga {redacted}, resulting ultimately in the reduction to the rank of Lieutenant, junior grade, and eventually reassigned to the Wayfarer. At first struggling to prove his worth as a science officer in Starfleet, he eventually redeemed himself in the eyes of his captain, Captain Jameson Williamson, and over the course of several years earned the rank of Commander. Following a change to the Command Track, Wallunga has been made Captain of the Wayfarer, and that ship and its crew have been posted to the 38th Fleet and Deep Space 13 in the Aldebaran System, not far from any number of potential threats - but also on the frontier of human exploration.
