This often happens to me too with events, Dex. Sometimes what I do is either volunteer to play the starbase comms or just go the briefings etc. May not work for this event but I always feel like there are secondary activity options for when I can only make half of an event.

Those are good suggestions for sure. Maybe I'll just bring Alina to the briefing and she can volunteer to do station side computer work of some form.
I'm going out with friends for the Superbowl so I can't make it. Sorry. This social life is getting in the way of RP
