In an effort to ensure future positive diplomatic relations between our two governments and to give the stabilizing Cardassia a voice in the current state of affairs, Outpost Argo and a few select other Star Fleet installations have been selected to take on Cardassian diplomatic envoys. This command believes this to be an important step in avoiding any future misunderstandings between our governments in light of our past dealings.
These envoys are not considered fleet staff, but diplomats and shall be extended courtesy as such. This being said, without command approval such envoys shall not have access to restricted areas and/ or vessels unless approved ahead of time. Said envoys shall be included in day to day operations or patrols if they request and are cleared by station command. All interactions, patrols, observation and clearances shall be in accordance to Star Fleet law, or diplomatic standing with said representative shall be revoked and a review board conveyed to assess the severity of infraction.
