TO: Admiral Thackett, Starbase K-7, Starfleet Sector Command, Eta Eridani
FROM: Command, Task Force Argo
SUBJECT: Task Force ARGO Weekly SITREP

Task Force Argo is currently ready to support multiple operations. This past 7 days have seen only moderate activity from multiple entities in the sector. We currently have 14 ships and 34 officers assigned to the Task Force. In the last few days we have seen an up-tick in personnel reassignments which will increase our numbers in future reports. Starbase Argo is functioning properly.

Operations Last Seven Standard Days:
- The Task Force completed operations against the Tholian incursion with the Crystalline Entity, along with other Fleets.
- Planning is ongoing for a reconnaissance mission to the origin of the probe that mysteriously arrived at the starbase last week. We expect the operation to take place sometime in the next 5 to 10 days.
- Several Task Force Argo ships and crews conducted tactical ship based combat simulations in the holodeck to prepare ship teams and personnel for the upcoming Tactical training. The participating ships and crews were: U.S.S. Honshu, Commanded by Commander Sierra; U.S.S. Sutherland, Commanded of Commander Dae; U.S.S Vesuvius, Commanded by Commander Kalahn; U.S.S. Kuroi, Commanded by Lieutenant Yondia; U.S.S Sam Yeager, Commanded by Captain Quinn.
- Commander Sierra is remaining in the vicinity of Outpost Argo while in acting command of the U.S.S. Honshu until the apprehension of Razor.
- Captain Traise of the U.S.S. Albion has made use of a lesser known bylaw in Task Force regulations to re-assign himself to diplomatic duty in the New Romulan Republic while in command of the U.S.S. Forerunner.
- The USS Coraleigh has been out of contact for a significant amount of time. Understanding they are operating under radio silence so this may be more than likely, but eventually their status will need to be changed to missing.

Operations Next Seven Standard Days:
- Future operations are fluid at this time with several operations creaping up within our operational windows.
- Admin continues to stay busy as we finalize transfers of several new arrivals. This will likely take several more hours of work at the Starbase.
- We expect more quick reaction operations will be necessary against multiple enemies during the week, though nothing further is planned.

Threat Assessment:
The Klingon operations have remained on the lower end, but with more Waydi missions in the coming weeks its possible this will increase. Gorn Raiders were again absent this week. In their place we have seen an increase in loosely organized pirate bands in sectors in close proximity to the Starbase. With the withdrawal of the Crystalline Entity and the Tholians, it's possible that factions within the sector have been taking time to regroup.

Additionally, the Waydi representative was able to return the remains of five Starfleet officers, as well as three survivors of the U.S.S. Brunton: Lt Commander T'lok, Lt Hort Jarik, and Chief Anna Tanson. Also related, the 'Waydi Crystal' has been transferred to the custody of AG-21-8 for exploratory experimentation.

- Leadership is focusing efforts on system and Eta Eridani sector patrols this week again. Lack of enemy activity may have made us complacent in this area. WE will remedy that in the coming weeks.

Threat Assessment:
Klingon activity near the starbase and associated with the Waydi have crept up slightly. Commander Quaen attended a briefing which indicates a possible increase in future Klingon activity. The lack of enemy activity may be associated with our patrol routes, and not with a lack of enemy presence. Also, scientific research on the station has started to increase, again.

Operations Next Seven Standard Days:
- We have no scheduled activities over the next week but its likely that we will be conducting multiple missions along the Klingon border, as well as the possibility of other more exotic threats.

Threat Assessment:
We assess that activity across the system has increased and that our continued patrols will likely lead to more encounters with enemy forces. Increased partnership with the 26th Fleet will likely lead to more activity against hostile forces.

This was associated with the seizure of the Ker'rat System, the actions against the Waydi, and the destruction of the USS Greenbelt. Operational elements have also been dispatched to investigate possible True Way attacks in the Beta Ursae sector. Finally, reinforcing elements have been sent to Tau Dewa and the main Sirius sector blocks to ensure stability there. There have been no indications of Gorn or Orion activity in the past week.

Threat Assessment: The retaking of the Ker'rat System from Klingon occupation forces is another progrssive sign of the lessening Klingon influence in the local area. One minor incident involving True Way extremist was handled by system patrols. The most significant and new threat this week was the Romulan Empire Tal Shiar threat that the USS Moirai encountered in the Tew Dewa sector. The threat was significant and extra Task Force vessels had to be dispatched to assist the Moirai.

On a threat related note, intel teams are closing in on the otherwise forgotten former Commodore of the Task Force, R'zo-vek. It's possible further intel could lead to significant developments in the story.
