89539.9 FNS: Casperia Prime to Build State-of-the-art Facilities

89539.9 Federation News Service: Casperia Prime to Build State-of-the-art Facilities

... The clean-up effort on Casperia Prime continues tirelessly. Approximately seventy-five percent of the wreckage has been cleared since that tragic day and ground crews are optimistic about meeting their target date.

But citizens will find that there is, in the end, no reason to rush. Just this morning, the Casperian government agreed to the proposals made by privately hired construction firms to tear down the remaining wings of the old Embassy in order to build a brand new, state-of-the-art facility to take its place. While mildly controversial, the decision seems to be mostly a popular one as projections indicate the investment now will be paid in full within three years of finishing construction.

Blueprint drafts are being drawn up for the new Embassy campus, to be approved some time in the upcoming month.

In other news, the Ornithological Society will soon be hosting their popular convention and conference, after a month long postponement. In the wake of the Zyngetan Embassy tragedy, the Society was forced to cancel its one-week affair and has only recently announced their reservation of halls within the Parthe Event Center instead. The conference is expected to begin in two weeks time.

Tune in later, as we have an exclusive interview with the Ornithological Society's First Executive on his private yacht, where we'll learn all about what we can look forward to seeing at this year's Avianpalooza...
