Yesterday Captain Lyspha of the USS McDonald Fraser was recovered. After being MIA for several days the captain's combadge was finally traced to an Orion pirate vessel orbiting the Planet Nimbus III.
Captain Lyspha was recovered mostly uninjured, with only minor scratches on her shoulders, how ever blood stains on her clothes showed that the injuries had prviously been slightly deeper.
Lyspha was questioned intensely as to whether federation secrets had been revealed to her captor. To which she responded that she was not asked to reveal any secrets but did reveal a marvelous Andorian tuber recipe that she also shared with us, and we'll most certainly be enjoying this evening.
Lyspha described the pirates intentions as 'simple' they just 'wanted a new set of furniture' was her description of the motives behind this dreadful crime.
