At 20:15 hours Rex get call from Argo ops station. Ops station say they have medical alert on Cardassian Galor ship docked bay three. Rex respond and med teams arrive shortly after follow by security backup. Crew was panicking. Rex find their commander unconscious on floor near table in her quarter. Rex identify commander as Gul Serrat who is here for diplomat things on station. Rex see that life signs weak and fade fast. Medical team emergency transport to med bay three. Rex establish quarantine area round commander's quarters and begin investigation.
No physical force entry sign on door or outside panel. No sign of fight in quarters. Rex find no biological residue from anyone outside of expected personnel in quarters. Rex however find evidence of some sort unknown additive in commander food. Has sent food and samples to lab for analyze. Rex however do find inconsistency in door access timeline not long before commander come to quarters for evening meal. Internal sensor log also seem to have been alter. Twenty minute gap in internal sensor was found. Rex find one visual log in main hallway of crew deck that show momentary distortion. Rex suggest that distortion similar in appearance to device him seen Jem Hadar use before. Personal cloaking device. Rex also looking into possible transmission from Cardassian ship to somewhere aboard station with what look like federation signature.
Base medical reported commander time of death at around 20:45. Med bay is keeping body in stasis pending investigation. All crew from Cardassian ship being told to stay on ship and be available for questions.
At this time, Rex have to rule cause of death as possible murder, and will be investigate further. Will advise as soon as him have more data and full medical autopsy.

Rex have found information while go through Gul Serrat personal communications and logs. Gul has been operating by herself for months now. Cardassian government discharged 'n scrap her diplomat function long ago. Only reason they could not force Gul to return to Cardassia was Gul own her ship. Tezzeret and crew are owned and operated by Gul Serrat personal finances. Rex sees this as reason Galor ship was not violation of Cardassian peace treaty signed at end of Dominion War. Galor ship was not seen as military because Cardassian government not own ship for quite some time. This being case, Rex would assume ship as well as belongings would pass on to next kin. Only kin Rex find be a daughter who in Star Fleet. Rex is contact her when him finish report.
Lab analysis come back and verify what Rex had think. Gul Serrat been poisoned. Lab have hard time matching chemical with known toxin. Closest thing they find to it be from Gamma Quadrant. Something call "Iocane Powder". Rex have enough evidence after alter logs and lab result to say death of Gul result of intentional poison. Death of Gul be murder.
Also, Rex have cleared employees aboard Gul ship to stay or return to their homes elsewhere. Rex have interviewed them all and believe assassin originate elsewhere. Everyone on crew very loyal and thankful to Gul for give them good pay job. Many be very upset Gul die.
Rex continue to look into comm signature from that night as well looking for possible personal cloaks that may be aboard station. All non Federation ship that come and go are be subject to extensive search and interview procedure.
