Sir's, Bismarck was ordered by Task Force Argo Command to escort a freighter convoy in the through the Ruben System. Upon arrival in the system, Bismarck pulled level with S.S. Clarkson and reported in. After this, Bismarck begun standard perimeter sweeps. After around 30 minutes of escort, several ship dropped out of warp, and sensors identified them as Nausicaan Light Frigates. Bismarck moved to intercept at Yellow Alert and attempted to hail. However, the response was weapons fire splashing against our shields. At this time, I ordered Capacitor's 1, 2, 3 brought online to charge the Phaser Lance, which then fired three times, it's maximum fire rate, destroying three Nausicaan frigates, while standard phaser fire destroyed the fourth. At this time, I contacted Clarkson to find out why Nausicaan's were attacking them, and received the rather brash answer 'Because their Nausicaan' from the rather...disgusting Tellarite First Officer. After several more raids by Nausicaan ships. including a ship weighing at Battleship tonnage, I scanned every ship in the Convoy, and detected around 200 litres of biomimetic gel aboard the S.S. May. This was beamed into space and destroyed. After this, we finished up the sweep and returned to Outpost Argo
Bismarck behaved exactly as described. She is, without a doubt, a fighting ship.
Commander Thomson has informed me that he was acting as the Executive Officer to the Carrier Battle Group. I have allowed him to continue this role aboard the Bismarck. I hereby request an official transfer into the Carrier Battle Group to allow my XO to perform to his duties to the best of his abilities.
