The following is a preliminary report following an Engagement with the Borg in the Vorn System.
Hull Breaches: Deck 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 15, 22, 23, 26.
Engines: Warp Drive Offline, Impulse damaged. RCS Thruster damaged.
Offense: Aft Torpedo Launchers destroyed, fore port launcher destroyed. Phaser banks 1-3 overheated, 4-6 fused.
Defense's: Shields offline, Ablative Armour destroyed. Internal bulkheads in place.
Crew losses:
Casualties: 43, 12 severe, 3 critical.
Fatalities: 14, 12 assimilated.
As of this time, I have assumed command of the U.S.S. Bulwark, and I am working towards getting her ship-shape and battle-ready.

Re: U.S.S. Geordi LaForge
U.S.S. Dan Daly, under my orders, conducted rescue operations for a ship in distress, U.S.S. Geordi LaForge. The LaForge was being assaulted and pursued by Borg forces and had taken significant damage. A number of other Starfleet vessels diverted to assist and promptly engaged Borg forces.
Of note, vessels transmitting Identified Friend or Foe (IFF) tags of the Romulan Republic decloaked in-system and assisted in the rescue.
After a minor engagement, the LaForge was able to pull far enough from the system for Borg forces to cease pursuit.
Several Borg support vessels were destroyed and a number of Borg Cubes were dealt significant damage as well. Due to our hasty withdrawal, it is unknown how many of these Cubes were destroyed or rendered inoperable.
The Romulan vessels resumed cloak without breaking radio silence and presumably departed the area.
The LaForge suffered critical damage in the engagement and was towed back to Outpost Argo for repairs.
The impromptu battle group suffered only minor damage in the brief engagement.
