After Action Report - Observe Space Travel Test of a Pre-Warp Capable Species

Stardate: 89900.8 ((11.24.13))Observe Space Travel Test of a Pre-Warp Capable SpeciesReport Submitted: Commander Brown, USS Esparta

On stardate 89900 the USS Esparta conducted scientific monitoring of Xepses species and their attempt at launching a chemical rocket into orbit around their planet in the Zibat System, Eta Eridani. the Xepses are a pre-warp capable species and have only been able to conduct limited extra-planetary travel in the past 70 years.

Today, the Xepses were attempting to place a communications satellite into geosynchronous orbit using a double stage rocket with nine primary engines. However, the rocket experienced multiple delays during launch countdown and their 67 minute launch window eclipsed without a launch attempt. Their next launch window will open in approximately 3 days and the Esparta and crew will be in position to observe then, if they try.
Close Report.
