Captain, it is time that I was on my way. The fallout from this catastrophic Starfleet blunder is settling on the ground, and I was expected on Ch'Aehkla days ago. I need to be there performing damage control, not stuck here pacing a groove into the floor while your inept guards run in circles. Kindly instruct your security chief to lift the restriction on my ship's departure so that I can begin to clean up the mess you've made.

I deeply regret that your stay on Deep Space 13 has been unsatisfactory. Unfortunately, with such a drastic event, the only way the Federation can offer any sort of justice for the harm done to your situation is to resolve it before your departure.
I will instruct the Chief of Security to increase the speed of the investigation.

This is outrageous! You're interfering in the state business of the Republic and wrongfully detaining and punishing the victim of a crime--a crime which took place on your watch, I must add--while the perpetrator runs free! You leave me no choice but to take this matter up with your superiors.
Admirals, it seems that this mere Captain believes that she can exert her capricious will over a member of the Republic Senate. In so doing, she jeopardizes the alliance Starfleet and the Federation have worked to build with my government. I must insist that you instruct her to clear my ship for departure. By your immediate and decisive action, we may avoid further compounding this already disastrous situation.

We have not previously met but I have heard much about you. Let me first off apologize for the delay in your departure and the the unfortunate incident which has kept you here.
Please know that we have top security officers investigating your case, in the mean time I will begin and expedite the process of getting your vessel cleared for transit. Please have your vessel's riov forward necessary departure and transit information to the care of LT. Cullum, J. The lieutenant works in my office and will ensure you leave in a timely manner.
