BIOGRAPHICAL HIGHLIGHTS
Esca sought an active commission a few months after meeting Reus, and managed to secure an assignment at the same posting. When Esios entered their lives they agreed that one parent in Starfleet was enough, and Reus retired. They spend over a decade on Starbase 39, and only recently relocated to Deep Space 13.

SUMMARY
Patient is suffering from extremely high levels of neurological activity in all four major lobes. The occipital and parietal lobe show the highest signs of these neurological activity. This manifests itself through the patient losing focus when exhibited with strong emotional triggers.
Additionally the pituitary and pineal glands are secreting Zaraphoid and Fernayahide, which is uncommon to the Tesrin race.
After a careful analysis of the Tesrin race, it appears that the patient falls into the very small minority who exhibit signs of telepathic and empathic abilities. These abilities tend to develop during the pre-pubescent stages, delaying puberty in the patient. This explains the high neurological activities and unknown hormones in the body.
Other than the neurological activities listed above, the patient is of sound health. Continue to monitor telepathic development, neurological activity, and child development, especially since puberty is delayed because of the development of the patient’s telepathic ability.

SUMMARY OF FINDINGS
The authority granted by Starfleet Medical P.D. finds the subject to be of sound mental health and fit for active duty, as of her assessment date. Authority affirms that no psychological trauma was observed during the interview.
Subject was entirely affable for the duration of interview, with an easy conversational manner and no inkling of self-consciousness or any detectable reluctance to discuss himself and his family. Subject seems well-suited to his profession, carrying with him a respect for the system to which he must adhere, while remaining cognizant of its pitfalls and keeping faith and optimism on still being able to make an impact. Authority observes that the subject is a competent compartmentalizer, in his separation of personal and professional opinion.
Authority observes that the subject's family is a highly prioritized part of his life and subject is willing to make practical career sacrifices to honor their needs. This may be largely due to the subject's development of a constant self-improvement mindset, which allows him to re-frame unappealing circumstances in terms of their opportunity and potential for change. This trait runs parallel with the subject's resilient optimism, both in regards to his external circumstances and other people's motivations, though it is tempered by the realist's view that is proffered by his professional experience.
