Due to more recent events, Bastet Commercial Enterprises has enacted the following following operational changes pending further guidance from Starfleet:
- Event Horizon Staff are to inform all patrons that self-administered medical treatment and bodily modification¹ are DISCOURAGED in the bar area.
- In the event that a patron is found to be conducting a self-administered medical treatment or bodily modification in the bar area, please alert a DS-13 medical team² IMMEDIATELY!.
We would like to remind everyone that the Event Horizon Lounge is a restaurant, bar, and social space, and not an approved Starfleet Medical Branch³ treatment center. While we are happy to provide food, drink, and atmosphere, proper medical care is best administered through the stations sickbay or appropriate outpatient clinics.
As a reminder, The Event Horizon Lounge does not stock or distribute Ketracel White.

¹ Medical care and bodily modifications are to be considered 'self-administered' when conducted without an on-duty medical officer present. Please remember that DS-13 Emergency Medical Response teams are trained medical personnel and are not, in fact, 'pretend doctors', Kevin.
² DS-13 Medical Teams can be easily reached by hail over any Federation Standard comms device, or by pressing '2' on the bar comm panel.
