Subject presented an impeccably disciplined and competent manner during interview, without ever stepping so far as to be seen as brusque or unceremonious. Subject’s largely pragmatic attitude was in evidence in just about all of her responses, with a clear preference for methodologies and actions that are transparent and cooperative in nature and strongly disliking unnecessary complications of any kind. Though she self-describes as a traditionalist in her approach to problem-solving and management, subject is not unappreciative of experiences that will expand her world view and values such memories as unique imprints upon her psyche, leading the subject to a seemingly well-balanced sense of self.

Subject attended interview with his typically affable and personable manner. Though his speech is generally unrestrained and spotted with informalities, subject never seems to strain the boundary standards of courtesy and professionalism with his attitude. Subject professes to being remarkably satisfied with his posting with the fleet, feeling both pleased with the relevant leadership attitudes and contented with his particular standing and the work that has brought him there. Despite recent events, subject remains steadfastly devoted to his responsibilities and though he has had to adjust to a more involved social network, he does seem to enjoy the exceptional feeling of community as a result.
Scrutiny of subject’s responses to profiling survey observes the subject to be eminently unassuming, which authority finds to be in direct contrast to the subject’s robust sense of self-confidence; the subject is not generally in a habit of second-guessing himself, yet he remains somewhat reserved with his expounding on his own personal issues. During interview, the authority observed the subject’s manner to be generally congenial and open, moved easily to smiles and willing to discuss her history. Though subject initially appeared to be displeased with the necessity of being evaluated, the authority is grateful to note that the subject did not appear to be recalcitrant in any degree, though this did not preclude the subject from occasionally expressing amusement whenever the authority required clarification on any topic. Authority additionally observed that the subject appears to have a remarkably conscious connection with her symbiont, which may seem somewhat chaotic to the outside observer, but subject seems wholly comfortable with the arrangement. Authority notes that this internal preoccupation has been reflected into external behavior, as the subject rarely remained physically idle during interview.

During interview, subject presented himself as a particularly self-motivated and thoughtful youth, with a studious mien. Authority considers the subject to be unusually well-adjusted for his age, with a capacity for foresight that officers many times older often lack, to the degree that authority is uncertain whether or not the subject really possesses the self-management skills that he claims to have. Nevertheless, the authority remains generally impressed by the subject’s sense of perspicacity and fearlessness to address his own shortcomings and venture onto the path of most resistance.
Subject possesses a fair amount of self-assuredness and a likely degree of competitiveness, as well as a moderate streak of reservedness. Authority would like to register that she has always been impressed, and continued to be so through this interview, with the subject’s extraordinarily patient and polite mannerisms. This may be a symptom of being one of the very few of his species that is generally considered fairly intimidating to the average Federation citizen, as he suffers quietly through the unintentional microaggressions others leave upon sighting him. Though he is capable of not taking the slights personally, he is forced to maintain a constant awareness of who he is and his potential for damaging the relatively fragile people and things surrounding him.
Despite all this, subject appears to be quite satisfied with his life as it is presently and though he does occasionally miss the company of his kin, he appears to have carved out a niche for himself in the meantime. Subject enjoys being intellectually challenged and possesses a mild sense of humor that he isn’t afraid to demonstrate. He does retain a healthy level of self-confidence, unbothered by the possibility that others do not share his tastes. During the interview, subject expressed herself directly and efficiently. Most of her responses were short or curt, addressing the literal interpretation of the questions she was asked. This often prompted multiple follow up questions, which the subject answered in similar fashion. While certainly efficient, authority has some concerns this tendency may frustrate others she works with or elongate the process of receiving all critical information during her duty shifts.
Subject exhibits an external locus of control, seeing events as things which happen to her, often outside of her control. While open and willing to learn and improve herself, she may be unwilling to seek advice from others when personal problems arise. She appears unsure of her social and emotional support network. To the subject, social situations are viewed as tactical in nature and often transactional. In a similar vein, subject does not feel comfortable expressing contradictory opinions to her superior officers, unless she believes it vital; she simply follows orders. Despite this, subject does have an overall optimistic view of others.
It is of Authority’s opinion subject would benefit from a Commanding Officer who puts her in situations where she is required to solve problems without direct orders from her superior. Subject is in possession of an eminently friendly and amiable manner, prone to smiling and not afraid to laugh at items he finds amusing. Subject treated the interview with a professional level of focus, giving thoughtful responses while simultaneously never abandoning his more casual air. He frequently found ways to lighten the discussion and moved easily between topics of varying emotional sensitivity. Subject can be mildly self-deprecating for the sake of humorousness, but authority saw no evidence that he suffers from any actual low self-esteem issues.

At this time, authority acknowledges that subject’s case is a unique one and therefore difficult to assess by any normal standards for Starfleet personnel. Authority observes that the subject produces no discernable emotional output, which suggests the subject is unlikely to be governed by the cultural emotional norms and cues that sentients usually rely on to guide their own behavior.
Authority’s assessment is that the subject’s critical lack of self-awareness became evident over the course of the interview. Though he claimed that a lack of inability to ‘properly communicate’ with fellow officers to be the primary cause of conflicts, his responses on the BFI-2 conversely claim that he has above average conscientiousness. Authority hesitates to go as far as to say that the subject is impetuous or unthinking; rather it seems more as though he approaches all problems with a confident zeal. Subject came into interview feeling very comfortable from the start, deploying a quick and ready sense of humor and cheerfully relaxed facial expressions. His easy manner and fond references to his former colleagues lead the authority to believe that the subject will have few issues settling in and making his way. Subject shows a marked conscientiousness and understanding for the ‘big picture’, especially with respect to diplomacy, which authority feels will come in very useful in the subject’s line of work. Authority also observed subject’s penchant for being candid, even when it might not be the right time for it.
Authority does note that the subject has some very mild reservations as to his own capacity for developing a new social circle in his new station, leading authority to consider that the subject may seem and appear quite easygoing, but still keeping some small parts of himself in reserve. As with this subjects previous interview the subject expressed herself directly. Most answers to questions were either one word or short simple sentences. Follow up questions led to more in-depth answers which gave a better understanding of the patient and the questions that were understanding, showing growth from her previous evaluation.
Subject has a great moral responsibility, despite being in multiple dangerous situations that have threatened herself and others she remains attached to her ideals. The subject has had a tremendous amount of experiences that to others would be traumatising, however the subject appears to be fine as a result of tackling these problems head also likely a result of her being Vulcan.
It is of the Authority’s opinion that the subject has grown much since their last evaluation. They have adapted and are happier with their work than before. Though their work can be a source of great stress and can lead to the subject not being able to be as open with answering questions, the Authority believes that they should continue in their field as it will continue to help them grow as an officer and person to eventually be able to achieve their future goals.

Authority observes that she had to spend a significant amount of interview time asking questions simply to understand the subject’s current socioemotional state, which is fairly complex and has very few medical precedents to draw from. Subject alternated between referring to himself as ‘I’ and ‘we’, evidence of the lack of clean disengagement between sense of self and his cooperative. While the authority empathizes with the subject’s decision to remain in his cooperative, there is some mild cause for concern if the eventual goal is for the cooperative units to separate and live individual lives.
Subject was capable of expressing his emotions visually, to a degree, sometimes smiling, sometimes twisting his features in mild distress, and occasionally these actions seem more practiced than familiar. Subject’s verbal communication style was also unusual and sometimes unclear; authority speculates that perhaps he is a bit too reliant on his connection with his cooperative that when he needs to interact with those outside of it, he potentially forgets to provide more context or information on what he’s communicating.

The subject exhibits indications of uncertainty and mild anxiety relating to his first command assignment. He expresses insecurities about his senior officers’ appraisals of his experience and age, and about his own readiness to face the challenges of his new post. These emotions, while detrimental to optimal performance, are common among new command officers. The subject appears to be coping with these anxieties and their attendant stress in a rational and mature manner.
The subject attributes his emotional discipline to a trauma therapy program undertaken during childhood. This measure was taken to help the subject adapt to the absence of his father, Capt. Oliver Macginnis, whose Starfleet file is flagged as Missing In Action. Future counseling sessions should explore this topic in greater detail.

The subject exhibits particular interest in the habits of Romulans and Dominion client species due to reports he has received of tensions between their respective factions. Authority also detected an undercurrent of conviction in the subject’s feelings regarding his own potential and that of his ship and crew. The authority observed that the subject has yet to feel strongly challenged or particularly tested with his command thus far, and though he’s not ungrateful to have the opportunity to acclimate at his own pace, subject also seems more than ready to actualize his role.

Subject is in possession of a profile that is not dissimilar from many incoming junior officers. Subject has no set long-term plans, with the focus currently on getting used to the current job and everything around it. Subject has approached the assessment seriously and with a degree of nervousness not uncommon for first time assessments. Following some candor and conversation, subject was more keen to open up and be willing to be far more gregarious. Anxious, but honest.
Subject’s motivations seem to stem from a strained familial situation at the subject’s previous home, matched with a desire to depart from that setting as much as possible. That being said, whilst the subject’s familial situation may be strained, the subject also places significant weight upon friendships. This leads authority to believe that the subject will seek to supplement any perceived lack of a social circle with co-workers or other associates.
Subject has voiced considerable sense of fulfillment from her duties, oftentimes citing that her potential is properly being fulfilled. Subject also voiced a sense of importance to her work as well.
