DISCUSSION
Subject evidenced a minor amount of nervousness at the beginning, which tapered off quickly after interview got under way and was not significant enough to inhibit him from being willing to demonstrate his sense of humor in conversation. Subject’s demeanor otherwise was cordial and attentive, his responses came easily and were pleasantly civil, and he frequently exhibited his keen focus on the upcoming preparation needed to dive into the work of a new command. Authority observed that subject also possesses a particular mindfulness of his crew and their needs. He especially values when others are confident enough to speak their minds and when they’re willing to put in the time to earn his respect.
Subject trends towards fairly moderate optimism and has a generally positive outlook on the world and the motivations of others. Locus of control is balanced, neither too internal nor external. BFI-2 scores: high on openness to experience, agreeableness, conscientiousness, and extraversion. Low negative emotionality.
