CREW
KIA: 3
MIA: 5
WIA: 35
Refugees: 508
NOTES
The Dallas was one of the last ships to arrive at DS13, and as such escaped largely unscathed. The majority of the damage was caused when two shuttles collided in Shuttlebay 2, starting a ferocious fire which quickly swept upwards through the ship. The fire was not extinguished until it reached the Impulse deck, causing minor damage to number 3 fusion reactor.
Superficial damage was sustained to the outer hull as the Dallas made a close pass to the station and external systems suffered minor heat damage as the stations reactor was jettisoned. Crew and refugee casualties were at a minimum despite the fairly widespread internal damage caused by the fire.

The Victory sustained severe damage during the battle. A lancing shot from a Confederate vessel struck her amidship penetrating the hull through. This caused a cascade of system failures and surges blowing out damaged systems and damaging others that had not sustained direct fire. At that time the Victory was forced to withdraw from the engagement. Once the battle was over and damage control teams reported operational control of the affected areas of the ship, we engaged in SAR operations for DS13.
The Medical bays have been taxed to limits and several officers are declared MIA. Among the MIA are Chief Medical Officer Shamat and the First Officer Commander Andrews. Both were seen responding to the collapse on deck 27 after the battle.

NOTES
Vauthil, along with the other warbirds of the Detachment, was tasked with covering the evacuation rather than engaging in the line of battle. Subcommander t'Parnus interpreted those orders to permit going to the aid of USS Victory and covering their withdrawal from the engagement. While shielding USS Victory, Vauthil suffered a through-and-through hit on the starboard wing. Direct damage was relatively contained, but feedback and loss of power to other systems - particularly the entire starboard impulse engine, with resulting loss of maneuverability - forced Vauthil to withdraw in turn. Upon completion of SAR operations, Vauthil made best speed for Federation station K-7.
Vauthil is currently waiting in line to disembark passengers (a mix of Federation and Romulan) and receive proper repairs. Subcommander t'Parnus is uncomfortably aware that both may take some time.

NOTES
The U.S.S. Albion has just returned from a 4-Year Deep Space exploration mission. While due for a Baryon Sweep it can be put off for almost another year yet if needed. As it was spared from all action during the conflict at Deep Space 13 she stands full and at the ready.
The crew has volunteered their due time off to be delayed until after the current situation has suitably stabilized.

Looks like our shakedown cruise is going to be more hands on than we thought.
