VESSEL NAME: USS Opportunity

INSPECTION STARDATE: 100684.8

PURPOSE AND CONTEXT OF INSPECTION

Technical Inspection
Inspection requested following conclusion of recommissioning from mothball fleet yard before being passed to Fleet Operations.

CONCLUSION

USS Opportunity is deemed ready for service, with all major systems passing inspection. However, there are two key items to address before the next inspection.

Engine Systems
When passing the subspace shock barrier, there is a shudder in the drive system prior to a full warp bubble establishing.

Internal Communications
The Internet Communications system has an odd compression artifact which does not appear to be software based.

On behalf of Starfleet Operational Command, I clear the USS Opportunity for active service within the 38th Fleet, pending full Readiness Inspection by Starfleet Command division.
