Be advised that it is my intent to resign the post of Chief Engineer of Deep Space 13 effective SD-94799.8 ((19 Oct 2018)). In light of her exemplary performance as Assistant Chief Engineer for the preceding two years, I recommend Lt. Cmdr. Elizabeth Kermit for promotion to the vacated position.
