Subj: Terran Incursion Report

All,

You will have received the weekly intelligence package from DS13 Intelligence regarding the current status of the Incursion. I wish to highlight a few important parts of this briefing.

  1. Captain Mirazuni and the crew of the U.S.S. Endeavour deserve special recognition for their excellent work capturing the Athax system. Endeavour Command showed outstanding initiative in striking at the Terrans. If you see them around, please give them a pat on the back; they deserve it.

  2. Captain Skye and the crew of the U.S.S. MacAlpine, and Captain Holmes and the crew of the U.S.S. Dallas also deserve special recognition for, again, taking the initiative and securing vital areas and denying the Terrans access to these areas. Once again, if you see any of these crews around, they also deserve your recognition.

  3. The above ships, along with Captain Hanson and the crew of the U.S.S. Sunrise, Captain Bahieh and the crew of the U.S.S Invictus, and Captain Grant and the crew of the U.S.S. Artemis, all took the initiative and pushed into the Tafor System. Whilst the Sunrise and the IKS Daramar were eventually pushed out of the system, the fact that the Terrans had to scramble their flagship in an attempt to secure the system shows what these incursions into the Terran territory can do; it keeps them guessing.

  4. Captain Barron and the crew of the U.S.S. Alexander were very close to capturing the Citali system. Had the Captain received support, there is no doubt that the Citali system would be in Federation hands.

  5. Captain Tungsten and the crew of the U.S.S. Dragon, and Captain Grant of the Artemis again were close to defeating the Terrans if they had more support. Commander Mandukar and the crew of the R.R.W. D’Ishae also performed valiantly and neared triumph.

There is a theme here. Throughout the past week, Captains have taken it upon themselves to force openings into the Terran lines, and used their initiatives to defend and attack the Terrans. This war will not be won by standing by and simply countering the Terran moves. Captains will need to be proactive.

I have had the pleasure of meeting and talking to every single Captain in this fleet. If I did not have confidence in you and your decision-making abilities, you would not be here. I can only do so much behind my desk. You are the fleet’s elite. I trust your judgements. Work with each other. Take the fight to the Terrans.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need advice or assistance.

Regards,
