UPDATED - Captain Thiessen's Office

Tau's larger office, now Captain and CO of DS13, has been furnished even more to feel like a home over an office.

Desk

The desk itself is the same generic, steel-grey desk found my default in any Starfleet office. It's very, very busy though. The many items found on it include:

  • A thermos that's pretty much always filled with coffee, with the below image on it.

  • On the left there's a holoframe that flashes through numerous photos. It seems to be randomized.
    Spoiler: Photo descriptionsShow

Photo 1: A far younger Tau and Sara Desimone with their arms around each other, smiling at the camera sweetly.

Photo 2: Depicts a teenaged Tau stretched out on a beach next to a young, blonde man, both giving a thumbs up to the camera. They have their arms over one another's shoulders and have ridiculously bright neon sunglasses on.

Photo 3: Two young girls with dusky skin and wavy, dark hair, in lacy pink and yellow dresses. They have Easter baskets in their hands and are waving excitedly at the camera.

Photo 4: Two parents and two children are in this photo, taken inside a starship; the man is pale, blonde and blue eyed, and leaning down considerably to fit in the photo with the others - he is wearing the uniform of a NCO in engineering. The adult woman, with dark skin and hair buzzed close to her head, has her arms around the children and wears a Starfleet Sciences uniform with Lieutenant pips. The boy is a pre-teen Tau, with an awkward smile with his mother's arm around him. The girl must be his sister, her skin slightly darker than her brother's and her hair up in frizzy pigtails. She seems several years younger and a lot more ecstatic about the picture.

Photo 4: Seems to be a re-creation of the above picture, many years later. The father and mother are many years older, the father's still-blonde but balding hair pulled back into a ponytail, the mother's shaved-close hair lightly spattered with grey. Tau, now in a Starfleet Engineering uniform and with the rank of Lieutenant Commander, is still free of the wrinkles and graying hair. His sister, with loose and crimped hair that's a bit wild in every way fashionable, is grinning widely and appears to be very pregnant.

Photo 5: This recent photo has Tau posing with a group of maybe about fifty Varanaka. They seem to be at a party, dancing, and Lieutenant Zecou is on his shoulders.

Photo 6: Tau having beer with another man, with brown hair worn back in a very short ponytail - both wear the rank of Commander, and seem happily drunk.

Photo 7: A picture of a distinguished Romulan woman with lines around her eyes and mouth, and brown hair - though not many here would recognize the now-Wing-Commander N'hiara. She's holding a game piece for the game Risk!, and appears to be concentrating intently on the board. The scenery behind her shows they're on Risa.

Photo 8: Again, a picture of a younger Sara. In this picture she's in a Starfleet uniform with Lieutenant rank and is clutching a beleaguered orange-striped, long-furred tabby in a hug.

Photo 9: In this photo, the gorgeous Orion Sadia Cynis is wearing a barely-there Orion bikini, stretched out in the sand of a Risian beach with a very fruity, large drink she's raising toward the camera.

Photo 10: A crew photo, labeled as the crew of the U.S.S. Janus, taken when Tau is listed as X.O. of the vessel. It's a wide-shot, the crew seems about 550-strong.

Photo 11: This picture has Tau with his arms around Sadia from behind, kissing the Orion's cheek. It's a selfie she seems to have taken.

  • A series of lion action figures litter one corner of the desk. They're usually in some formation, often lined up. They look chintzy but they're there for SOME purpose.

  • A lei from Risa, dried out, hangs from a brass display hook. The colors are faded but it does slightly retain the neon pink and blue.

  • Seasonal decorations: Usually, his desk will have a few Santa figurines in the winter, rabbits in the spring, or tikis in the summer. They're usually vibrant figurines.

The rest of the room...

While the walls of the Starfleet room are pale grey as most others, Tau has hung fabrics of golds, blacks and reds to cover portions of the depressing color. The room has plenty of lights to bring out the warm colors in the hangings.

A long painting of a savanna is behind his desk, framed in a very understated wooden frame. In it you can see, on close inspection, the silhouettes of several lionesses hidden in the tall grass at the back. Otherwise, the painting is without wildlife, the colors of the sky indicating a brilliant sunset.

Despite the man's many, many decorations, his medals aren't here.

A pristine re-creation of the dedication plaque of the U.S.S. Janus is bolted to the wall - by it's shiny nature it's clear it is new, as the Janus was lost in battle.

On the wall behind his desk are adhered several children's drawings of starships. Though it's not clear what class, smiling out of the window of one of them appears to be a stick-Tau.

Set up on a table beside several lounging chairs and the fold-out couch is a proper coffee maker on a table containing a cabinet. The cabinet has all sorts of teas and coffees form different regions and planets.

If you keep the Trinity College Library in mind, you're halfway to imagining Sam's ready room:

Sam's ready room was recently redone as the Endeavour underwent a minor refit and upgrade earlier this year. It was expanded and Sam himself designed it so that it would better serve his academic needs.

Nearly all metal has been replaced by wood, giving it a warm, golden feel. On every wall, are large bookcases filled with a variety of books. Most of these books are historical and the subjects vary massively; from History to Geography, Maths to Astronomy and everything in between. There is a shelf of general fiction which includes classic works such as Charles Dickens, George Orwell and Tolkien. Yet another shelf has a range of modern material. Interspaced with these books are occasional scrolls; there is a shelf which is purely made up of stacks of scrolls, paper and journals. There don't seem to be enough space on the shelves because there are smalls stacks of books on the floor, around the bookshelves. There also doesn't seem to be an order but Sam assures people that there is and he can, and does, find books with ease.

Spoiler: Sam's Desk AreaShow
Desk.jpg

When not working or researching, Sam's desk is generally clear. There is a desk lamp, a quill and ink set, a small stack of paper with the Bishop crest on the top, his work console and three pictures; one of him and Keelah on their wedding day, a portrait of Keelah, and one of Keelah and T'Pia. There is also a small globe and a detailed model of the original HMS Endeavour. These are permanent. Other less permanent things are stacks of reports and PADDs that Sam uses on a day to day basis as Captain. There is also a hidden compartment under the desk that Sam keeps a phaser hidden in case of emergencies. There are such compartments hidden all over the ready room which carry an assortment of hidden weapons; Sam is a tactician first and foremost.

Spoiler: Picture of Sam and KeelahShow
LEFtnGk.jpg

In the limited wall space, there is also a map of the British Empire, a sword crossed with a musket and a line of every Endeavour model that had been commissioned. Behind Sam's desk, on a shelf, are family pictures; one of his father, one of his mother, and one of Seb. There are also joint pictures of those three, as well a joint picture of his parents and a joint picture of Seb and Rachael. Further upon this shelf is a folded Union Jack. There is also a ship in a bottle here, the Endeavour, which was a Christmas present from Keelah. Another object of note is a dorodango, gifted to him by Captain Zaliel Sel.

Sam's room is carpeted and in the opposite corner from his desk is a large, comfy sofa which can double up as a bed, and two armchairs. Next to this is a window and a fish tank which is the only light source in the room that emits a blue, rather than a golden yellow light. Opposite this is a replicator.

Sam also had a few holoemitters installed for research purposes.

Vorir Somek's Ready Room

The USS Republic is a a Defiant-class ship, so space is at a premium and the ready room is by necessity somewhat bare bones. This is mostly to Somek's liking, as he is a practical captain and utilitarian by nature. However, he has taken the time to decorate with some frivolities (for the most part this is due to habit, as he has exhibited human-like behavior most of his life, and the need to collect and display things is somewhat ingrained; more recently, he has begun to feel emotions as well, so these decorations now also carry some sentimental value).

The ready room is down the hall starboard and aft of the bridge on Deck 1. The room itself is simple: a grey rectangle with a desk and chair occupying the forward starboard corner, and two chairs along the stern wall facing forward. Deck 1 has no windows, so the ready room instead has a viewscreen on the starboard wall that displays the starboard view by default, but can also show anything from a copy of the main viewscreen to engineering diagnostics upon demand. The desk is entirely uncluttered; the built-in computer terminal occupies the right-hand side of the desk, and Somek's PADD is usually resting tidily to its left. Two phaser pistols are holstered to the bottom of the desk for emergency use, but there are also two functional phaser rifles displayed on the forward wall behind the desk chair. Below the phaser rifles is mounted an ancient Terran bolt-action, cartridge-fired rifle, the Soviet M91/30.

Also on the forward wall are displayed various artifacts from Somek's Starfleet career: portraits of the Republic and its senior officers, a small case containing Somek's awards, and various more informal images of the crew both in action and at leisure. A shelf holds models of all the previous ships Somek has served on. Along the port wall are some more personal memorabilia: pictures of his home in San Francisco, his parents, his cat. A shelf here holds a variety of Terran fossils from the Cretaceous era. On the floor below is a small cat bed for said cat, though nearby is a small cardboard box that Somek has replicated for the cat (and which the cat seems to prefer). A few fuzzy cat toys often lie strewn about, but they get picked up regularly to keep the room tidy.

Rear Admiral Konieczko's office

Konie's office now no longer restricted to the smaller ready room of the Vanguard appears a lot more open. Most of the decorations remain as what appears in game however there are some notable changes.

His desk is made of heavy earth timber stained a dark brown color. It's a different desk from the Vanguard, though one would guess otherwise as a replica of the Vanguard's plaque is embedded in the front. It's normal state is kept fairly clean.

On his desk in a normal state there sits only a small stack of PADDs on a corner. There also is framed photograph of the Admiral and Tilly taken somewhere on Risa with the beach in the background. Towards the front half on his desk sits a small replica of the Vanguard made of or at least painted in a reflective gold material. Next to it is a green mug bearing the Republic's logo, it looks as though it hasn't ever been used.
There also sits a small art piece on his desk,

Commander Caspius' Office

The DS-13 Starbase Commander's office is sparsely decorated compared to its style under previous occupants, suggesting that Caspius focuses more on the utility of the room than anything else. The desk is completely clear except for a computer terminal and a stack of PADDs placed neatly on the left side of the desk.

There is a small shelving unit on the back wall of the office, left of the desk, on which are several books and gifts received from colleagues, including print copies of The Teachings of Surak and the Summa of St. Thomas Aquinas. There are also several volumes of poetry. Apart from the books, there are two other objects:

One wall of the ready room has a display map of the local sector that the Akagi is currently in, as well as positions of other Starfleet and Federation civilian ships.

U.S.S. Melqart Ready Room

The ready room of Captain Amburg-Larz doesn't seem like a common captain's ready room just because is full of things, different things that seem to occupy every bit of space at disposition. Normally, it is pretty large. There is a main desk, with a chair behind and two in front. Also, there are a pair of sofa, three places each, with a small, little table between them. Usually, the three things are occupied from books, padds, sometimes replicas of vessels, objects find around the galaxy.
The captain seems to like to inspection every important findings, especially the cultural one, in his room. Shelves occupy most of the walls. On them is possible to find most everything: an ancient flute, the model of a Bolarian's old sailing ship, a vulcan game, a peluche and so on.

Behind the desk there is a little wooden closet, with two shutters. Over it, there are photos, of different sizes and subjects (from the left):
Spoiler: The photosShow

  • In the first photo are visible David and his cousin, Claire, in front of the old city of St. Michel, Earth.
  • In the second photo there are David and three other officers (two male and one female). There are no names on it, all of them have excursion snow suits and David seems a lot younger.
  • Another photo from Earth. In this, David is under the Tour Eiffel with a girl, with long brown hair. Both smiling.
  • A four photo of a panorama of the colony of New Berlin during the Mazurska Festival.
  • In this photo David has a crutch and sit on a rock near the sea, with an andorian and a orion Starfleet's officer. The three seem to be on shore leave on Trill I.
  • The photo of a nebula, red and blue.

Near the photos, there is an old analogic record player and a wooden's clock, handmade, signed from an artist of Barcelona. There are just few little plants, in the angles of the room, behind the pile of books. In the closet are present bottle of different liquors from around the Federation and over, that usually David offers to his guests, a non-standard phaser pistol and a box, always closed with a fingerprint-reader lock.

Usually in the room is possible to smell a mist of scent of tobacco and markayla, a similar plant from Andoria, used to make cigars. The senior staff, usually, reunites itself in the ready room of the captain to smoke a pairs of them while discussing the usual topics. The room is modified to don't send the fire's alarm and the recycling system is modified as well to make the air circulate fast.

The light of the place tends to be yellow-orange, like in an eternal sunshine, giving to the room a quiet shadow. For what is know, the personal quarter of the captain are pretty similar to his ready room.

Fiona's Ready Room

The room is fairly bare with an almost wartime or militaristic feel to the sparsity of the decorations in the room with only a few personal touches. There is a small bookshelf along with a few shelves along the walls, coming out from the corner of her ready room across from the door in, next to a small seating area around a coffee table.

Desk

Fiona's desk is pretty basic bar the Celtic Triquetra carved into the centre of the heavy Scottish Oak wood top to her desk. Her desk has almost no decorations on it keeping the feel of the room militaristic bare.

-On the left of her desk is a medal display case containing the UFP Medal of Honour, the edges of the case show heavy wear from where it appears to have been picked up over and over again.

-Next to the display case would be a holoframe cycling through a set of photos in a random order.
Spoiler: Show
--Picture 1: Picture of Fiona, Keri and someone who can only be Fiona's twin sister Kira, the three of them in first-year cadet uniforms all of them would have a bright smile on their face.

--Picture 2: Depicts Fiona in a wheelchair, wearing a hospital gown, holding a baby in her arms surrounded by Keri, Kira and her parents.

--Picture 3: Shows Fiona and Keri with their arm around each other shoulders and their other hand resting on the shoulders of a young Cecilia while she stands between them, Fiona and Keri would both be in dress uniform with Commander and Lieutenant Commander pips on their uniform respectively. An Akira class ship would be visible behind them through the viewing window.

--Picture 4: Shows Fiona, Keri and Kira all in fourth-year cadet uniforms all with a glass held high and a big smile, with a banner having been imposed across the bottom of the photo with the text 'Class of 2404'

--Picture 5: In this photo, Fiona and Keri are standing behind an embarrassed looking Cecilia in her first-year cadet uniform.

--Picture 6: This photo shows Fiona and the senior command staff of the MacAlpine assembled together on her bridge upon Fiona taking command of the MacAlpine

--Picture 7: Would simply be a photo of Kira standing on top of a mountain smiling with a hand on her head to stop her hair flying about in the wind, while the sun lights up the glen behind her.

Rest of the room

-Behind Fiona's desk is a sealed weapon locker with a set of phase rifles and phasers.

-Fiona's bookshelf has a range of books, most of them neatly arranged but a few of them slightly out of place or pulled further out from the others due to their frequent use.

-On one of the shelves in the room would be a scale model of the USS Helios made out of a fragment from the hull of the Helios after it was destroyed. Underneath the model would be the plaque of the Helios with the number 327 engraved into it as well. Next to the model would be a turned off holoframe but when turned on would cycle through the pictures of every single one of the crew that lost their life under Fiona's command.

Keelah's Ready Room | USS Valley Forge

In terms of layout, the room is very much as seen with the Voy2410 bridge in game; with her desk set across from the door and a step up to a raised half of the room on one side which looks out over the hull of the ship. The decor is sleek but minimalist with a curved white desk & office furniture, all of which is offset with darkened trim. The rest of the room follows this crisp style with soft white leather seating curved across the front of the window and minimal furniture accompanying it (at one end of the long window sofa is a fluffy pillow which looks well used and very bedded in with cat hair, though the accompanying cat never seems to be around...). The darkened floor is bare throughout most of the room, trimmed to match the personal decor, though the area immediately in front of the group seating by the window hosts a large thick white rug to match the rest of the suite.

Spoiler: Visual approxmiationShow
keelahRR copy.jpg

Desk Area

Though the most notable feature to greet visitors is the large metallic IDIC sculpture adorning the wall behind it, the desk itself is generally as minimalist as the rest of the room; with the distinct appearance that everything has it's place and is sited just so. Keelah's console sits centrally at it, usually with a small stack of PADD's to one side. There is often a small pot next to a steaming mug of Vulcan spiced tea on the opposite side of the desk to this.

Behind the desk however, sit a few books and ornaments on a shelf - next to a Bajoran prayer idol which appears to be well used - and the keener eyed visitors would even spot a curious small green bottle with what looks like an IDIC symbol on it as well. Sat on the shelf beyond the few books that appear to be seldom used, are a pair of silver photo frame adorning pictures of Keelah on her wedding day, and of her daughter T'Pia - the wedding picture also has a small golden pendant draped over one corner; a long narrow piece with Egyptian hieroglyphs on it. These pictures sit in front of a Vulcan meditation lamp which appears as unused as the books nearby.

Around the Room

The replicator alcove beside Keelah's desk - for those fortunate enough to catch a glimpse - also houses a curious crude & colourful drawing of a starship made by her daughter at a young age, as well as a pristine glass wall mount containing a collection of service medals. The wall opposite Keelah's desk - adjacent to the corner doorway - proudly displays a collection of pencil sketches depicting vessels to historically carry the same name - as drawn by her XO, CMDR Zh'Zhavis - each with a small plaque beneath detailing the service period and registry of each ship, and next to this collection is a smaller glass frame with a collection of accompanying ship patches including those of the various squadron assignments the current Valley Forge has served with. While the opposite wall is mostly plain, it is fronted by a pair of neatly trimmed plants on the floor which seem to flank a raised glass enclosure containing a model Sovereign class starship; it's plaque reads 'USS Legacy'. High on the wall above this, an ornamental lirpa hangs at a slight - though seemingly very purposefully calculated - angle.

Over time, she has accumulated some possessions. Off to one side is a shelf with a stuffed epohh. On the wall is a plaque engraved with: Captain Beylara Ailes of the Deep Space 13, the First of Her Name, Defender of the William Ockham and the 38th fleet, The rightful Executive Officer of the fleet and Protector of the Xedi, and Mother of Lobsters.

She also had a large, leafy-green plant delivered from Eledri Prime. It sits proudly in one corner.

Her desk has a computer, a pile of PADDs and always a thermos with a hot beverage of some kind and at least two cups.

Captain Zizla Vehl's Ready Room

As captain of a Dreadnought, she has a fairly large ready room. On the shelves she has model ships, four of them. The first one is a Sovereign Class, where she served as XO with the rank of commander. The second one is a defiant, where she was transferred and served as XO again, until her captain was killed by the Undine and she stepped up and taken command. The third was her first commission as a captain, a Galaxy retrofit class. She served with distinction with it in battles against the Klingon Empire. And the fourth, and last, is her current ship, the Yamato Dreadnought battle cruiser.

In the back of the room before her desk, she keeps three potted plants, native to her homeworld of Andoria. They would looked well care for, despite the history of front-line service of the ship and captain. The flowers would be hues of blue and white.

Her desk is large and wooden make, a custom desk with her ship. The chair would be made with syntho-leather. Sat in an upright position the same as her captain's chair on the bridge. On her desk would be a computer for her to recieve her messages, a holo-projector, and a framed photo showing her and her family in their uniforms. Taken quite recently as her rank of captain is on her uniform, her family holding enlisted ranks within the Andorian Imperial Guard. Also on her desk would be a book, entitled "The Plays of William Shakespeare", showing she liked some human literature.

Behind her desk, her Class As would sit in a case, fully prep and ready. Sitting on the Class As, was a ribbon rack. One would notice that she had a few campaign ribbons, showing her past battles against Klingon, Romulain's Tal Shiar, Undine, and Borg. Also able to be noticed quite easily, is the Starfleet Decoration for Gallantry, Starfleet Extended Tour Ribbons with three stars on it, along with a Star Cross. Showing that there was more to the story of Zizla Vehl then she has chosen to share with people.

The following was taken from an RP in which Tala and Tylen were invited to Niazov's office in the legal wing. I can confirm that the Romulan absolutely hated it.

The first thing anyone stepping into the ready room of the USS Invictus would notice is the homely feel of the space. Assorted soft clutter, earth tones and smooth lines give the room an soothing feel.

Behind the desk, directly behind the terminal, hangs a Federation banner, the blue and white softened by woven fabric and natural dyes. Either side of it, just out of shot from the viewscreen's visual pickup, several children's drawings are fixed to the wall carefully, in cardboard frames. The desk itself features a springball, positioned to the left of the occupier, convenient to the left hand, sitting on a small plinth. The right hand side features an organiser, holding a collection of PADD stylui, small curios, and several multitools, along with an authenticated secure communicator. Opening the drawers of the desk, the first, and smallest, drawer contains a type 1 phaser, fitted with a disposal matrix, and hardwired to stun. The larger drawers contain a collection of PADDs, a small toolbox, and a harness for a quadraped the size of a Terran fox.

On the right side of the desk, taking up most of the room, is a small shrine, bearing a miniature orb vessel, with a clear space large enough for meditation in front of it, and bearing candlesticks. A small wooden cupboard next to it contains packets of candles and sticks of incense, as well as a small, hermetically sealed container with a dozen jumja sticks inside.

To the left of the desk, a small area of comfortable seating, two couches and an armchair, form three sides of a pentagon. They face a window, displaying the depths of space or the elegant swirl of warp speed. On the wall, two crossed rackets sit between paired bat'leths, and paired honour swords, both firmly and securely mounted. Between the displayed trophies are two small paintings, one of an agrarian scene on Bajor, the other, a replica of The Haywain, by the great Terran artist, Turner. At the corner to the right of the armchair, a small animal bed shows the down of red and blue feathers, as well as several signs of chewing, a feature shared with the rest of the furniture.

The adjacent private bunk area features a rustic comforter, made from brown fabric, with the planetary symbol of Bajor embroidered prominently. Above the bunk, a technically non-regulation skylight allows someone lying on it to look out into space. Incongruously, there is a small, folded telescope clipped to the wall, along with a brass sextant, and a set of printed tables.

On the wall behind the doorway, a duranium cuirass sits on a frame, along with a sheathed sword. Next to them, an archaic terran projectile weapon sits alongside the charging rack holding the latest issue model of Starfleet phaser rifle, a phaser sidearm, and a smaller terran projectile weapon. Next to the small armoury, a combat environment suit sits on a frame suspended from the ceiling, open and ready to be donned at a moment's notice.

Sam’s office still has the mellow golden vibe and wooden aesthetic from his ready room on the Endeavour, and a number of objects survived the transition, including his pictures of his wife and daughter, family pictures, and his various presents received. On the desk, there is a figurine.

His desk is similar, but changed slightly.

Summary

The larger space of the fleet xo’s office affords Sam more space and less clutter. Whereas Sam’s ready room on the Endeavour felt claustrophobic and cluttered, his new office seems open and spacious. The walls are still lined with bookshelves of old tomes, but the floor space is more open and roomy.

Ayesha’s Ready Room

Ayesha’s ready room, like most of her changes, is completely the opposite of how Sam had his. No longer is there a mellow gold lighting, this has been replaced by a sanitised blue and green lighting. The bookshelves were taken with Sam when he moved and Ayesha has not replaced them, preferring the metallic walls that came standard with the ship. There is not much in the way of personalisation. On the walls are a few paintings and drawings, all by the current occupant, as well as a number of potted plants to bring some character to the room.

Her desk contains fully holographic displays.

The sofa and armchair from Sam’s time remain, and it has been joined by a fluffy pet bed, which is seldom used by Ayesha’s pet fox, Azure. Somewhere around the room is a volleyball that Ayesha uses on occasion.

Ayesha’s Quarters

Ayesha’s quarters are spacious but use a different configuration than Sam’s old quarters. Whereas Sam had a larger living space and smaller sleeping space, Ayesha’s layout has both spaces of roughly equal size. Dominating the living space is another desk, where Ayesha can carry out meetings if necessary. By far, this area is a lot more personal than that of the ready room, showing Ayesha’s personal and professional divide. On the desk, there are photos of her old senior staff on Deep Space 16, consisting of a white-shouldered Captain, a friendly XO, Ayesha herself in her medical whites, and others, including her friends SinB, the Chief of Ops and Alex, the Tactical Chief. Near her bed, are photos of her father and mother.

Liz’s Ready Room, U.S.S. Valkyrie

Cozy even by Reliant class standards, the Valkyrie’s ready room is nonetheless a space that speaks to the vessel’s commanding officer, Commander Elizabeth Kermit. Largely a utilitarian space in keeping with the ships mission, the room has a number of personal touches to add an air of comfort.

The desk features a stack of PADDs arranged as almost curated clutter, giving the sense of use without interfering with the control surfaces or display. Within a small case is an antique metal whistle, the finish tarnished and worn away with time. What remains of the inscription along the top reads “THE ACME THUNDERER”, and along the side “TITANIC”. A holoframe shows a looping animated portrait of the ships captain standing next to a man with dark hair on a beach, lit by a setting sun and a pair of moons rising behind them. Next to the frame sits a pair of gloves fitted with some sort of device wrapping over the hand and running along each finger. The workmanship would suggest the gloves were early prototypes, likely hand-crafted, and the wear, tears, and faint scorch marks seem to confirm this.

Behind the desk Elizabeth has framed a handful of documents, chief among them her degree in Applied Warp Theory from the Archer Institute. Flanking that to the left is the cover of an issue of the Utopia Planatia Scientific Journal, listing it’s lead article as ‘Effects Of Hypergravity On Cochrane Type Warp Nacelles by Elizabeth Callahan’. On the right is a certificate of honorable discharge from the Romulan Republic Forces, made out to one Centurion Liraena T’Ecuni.

A set of gold-cast model ships line the far wall, the first three of notably Romulan design. T’Varo, Dhelan, and Ar’Kif class warbirds lead up to a smaller scale model of a Federation starbase, and finally a Reliant class. Almost as an afterthought, a rough model starbase made of a few dozen self-sealing stembolts welded together hangs from a thin wire next to the display case. Sitting on the coffee table in front of the ready rooms sofa are a pair of more detailed models, faithfully painted. The first is an original NX class starship, the painted letters across it’s hull identifying it as the original starship Enterprise. The second a T’Varo class, it’s hull plating weathered and mismatched. Those who can read Rihannsu would find “T’Varta” scrawled across the ships upper hull, and a faded warbird painted on the bottom.
