10 July: Icebreakers

ICly, the psych department holds regular icebreaker morale meetings. Officers may attend on a voluntary or on a mandatory basis (i.e. if you OOCly want to go, but you think your character be the sort to not want to). These are OOCly designed to give characters a setting to introduce themselves to others besides ye olde bar trek. (not that there's anything wrong with that, but mixing it up is always a positive thing.)

This is AIMED AT NEW CHARACTERS. If not enough 'new' (loosely defined) characters show on day of, I may cancel. Fair warning.

Something came up for me on Sunday, so I have to postpone this indefinitely, as we're going to Risa pretty much immediately after. Maybe do an icebreaker ON Risa, who knows.

But... you can't break ice on Risa, it'll just melt.
credit goes to Davin for pointing this out to me, but... read the info for the first planet described, Gliese 436 b.

I think there are over 15 different forms of ice and all of the ones that aren't the typical variety freak me out something fierce.

Though on that note, regular ice expanding in volume as it solidifies is still in direct contravention to how most liquids transition to a solid so I am still a bit wary of the garden variety of ice.

I stand corrected. Molten ice will be broke.

It's a cancelled event, we can go as off topic as we like. D:
(Submitted for your Approval) In a roundabout way... it is still relevant though. We are using the subject of weird forms of ice to get us conversing and stuff... which is how icebreakers work.....

*Twilight theme plays*
Rescheduled this for an upcoming Sunday.
