[Local] Sadia@gulremal: <FX> The squadron is some 8 hours away from Udran system, acting as a forward scouting group for the task force led by Lagos, head of House Woldan. The deployment was hurried after Lagos lost contact with Kunang shipyard, run by House Sorzal. The travel at high warp was uneventful up until this point…

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: <FX> Video and sound are garbled at first, until Shlaak “compensates” and is shown a grainy image of a young klingon male in the pilot seat of small KDF vessel. Damage to the vessel is evident as sparks flicker from the bulkheads in the background, and the air is smoky from recently snuffed out fires.

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: <FX> As they jump out of warp and move in to engage the lethean vessels, one of the lethean ships finally hits the shuttle, blowing up one if it’s wings and sending it off it’s course. Rest of the attackers acknowldge the new arrivals and turn to engage Egzo and rest of the squadron.

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: <FX> Morakos’ fire drops the forward shields and scores a hit on ship’s largest wing, forcing the pilot to break attack formation. Other 3 ships that went after Egzo and friends quickly reposition, maintaining the attack formation.

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: <FX> Damaged lethean ship reinforces the SIF field at the damaged wing area and redistributes shield as it does a wide arc, planning to rejoin the fight.
[Local] Sadia@gulremal: <FX> Trio of lethean ships in formation returns fire, spraying the Hag’lhr, Morakos and Barut with hails of disruptor beams. Many of these find their targets unfortunately. Hag’lhr’s front shields are down, while Morakos and Barut’s front shield drop to 20%, barely holding up.
Egzo@HF_Mudd mutters as R’ritt puts the ship through some evasive maneuvers, “Well, we got their attention…”
[Local] Sadia@gulremal: <FX> Last lethean ship turns around to make another pass at the damaged shuttle. Its beams would rip the poor vessel apart, but shuttle pilot makes a daring move by venting the shuttle’s atmosphere and moving the vessel out of the line of fire in the last second!

Mines destroy enemy ship’s shields and separate the main part of the ship from it’s main wing…leaving it helpless in space.

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: <FX> Lethean escort without shields and weapons speeds up on the evasive as they try to leave the combat.
[Local] Sadia@gulremal: <FX> The two escorts that were chasing Egzo split up for the flanking move against Morakos. Unfortunately their plan was read by Morakos pilot that executes a wild turn, evading most of the fire. Couple of hits that pass through do damage the aft shields, dropping them to 70%.
[Local] Sadia@gulremal: <FX> Lethean escort that destroyed the shuttle rushes at San’leth, it’s fire dropping the San’leth’s aft shields to 50%.

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: <FX> One lethean escort helps the engine-less ally by stabilizing them with a tractor beam. Two remaining undamaged ships start chasing Morakos, but they soon abandon this prospect as incoming Woldan force appears on their long range sensors. All lethean ships regroup and warp out towards Udran system, as Egzo and the team regroup with Lagos and his ships…
