B'Atar@anncarise | LAST TIME ON ZENAS PRIVATEERS...

B'Atar@anncarise | Carran Eye: "You tried to track the Scryer through his clones but failed to find his precise location. Now he is more careful. But the Relentless Hunter is still after Captain Vix."

B'Atar@anncarise | Carran Eye: "Lure the Nuhar construct to QanwI', destroy it near here, and I will be able to trace the backup signal through relays in my cell."

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: | Kayd: "Well, we went and scouted these coordinates you got from Underworld. There's definitely something there. A station, or a reeeal big ship."

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: | Sadia: "Good. We will hit them hard and fast. Can't let Scryer evacuate most of the assets."

B'Atar@anncarise | AND NOW THE CONTINUATION...

B'Atar@anncarise | The main force, consisting of joint KDF, OSN and Colonial Fleet ships, arrives near the coordinates to the Scryer's base and gets a hail from the San'leth...

B'Atar@anncarise appears as a hologram to everyone as usual, "You sure know how to keep a warrior entertained, Captain! Soon as we get the Breen running, you find us a big impressive base to hit."

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: Well, you should congratulate tabadi Kayd for that. What's the sitrep?

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: "We can see ten ships around the station. Mostly smaller ones, three cruisers. A force our size'll make short work of them. But there's no sign of V'Ku or his abominations."

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayd: "His ships have cloak. Probably waiting somewhere to ambush us, I bet."

[Local] Egzo@HF_Mudd: "No bet."

B'Atar@anncarise | Azara: "Most likely, yes. Azara recommends keeping a portion of the ships ready to intercept a flanking maneuver. All these ships are probably not needed for taking on the defenses."

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: "Outmaneuvering flankers, that's something San'leth does well."

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: They definitely plan to encircle us once we fully commit.

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: *she pokes something and holomap of the area appears*

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: *map shows the station, defense vessels and assembled KDF/orion task force.

[Local] Egzo@HF_Mudd: | Hag'lhr is flying escort on someone's wing.

B'Atar@anncarise | The enemy vessels are shown as a Cardassian cruiser, a Ferengi merc ship, an Orion cruiser, two Syndicate-style corvettes, two Nausicaan destroyers, two Tholian weavers and a Nuhar Watcher.

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayd: "And I thought our fleet was diverse..."

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: Okay, we know V'Ku is hiding and will wait until we strike the base. He most likely believes we will use our advantage and brute force with full assault.

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: "So, we keep some ships ready to intercept his encircling force?"

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: We will play into his hands - to a degree. Me, heavy support squadrons Martok and Gorkon, and OSN and Colonial Fleet vessels will form a line assault formation and hit the station and the defenders -

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: - head on.

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: Simple and brutal. You guys and raider squadrons Qib and Koloth will stay in hiding and hit V'Ku as he appears.

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: Ku'jho will lead this second group.

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayd: "Kayeri Vaj pairs best with Thana. That's what she was built for. You want us on the front, or with the second group? We can hit hard, but we can keep hidden too with our signature masking"

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: You both should stay in second team, as we do not know the size of V'Ku's forces.

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: G'Quan, Kajevi Vaj and Thana Vaneri will be the center of the second group, with raider ships providing support.

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayd nods, "All I know is that from the reports, when V'Ku left the Empire, he took a few bigger ships with him. We've taken care of most of them, but one of his old flags, the former -

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: - IKS Negh'Av, hasn't shown itself yet. And it doesn't take a Klingon to figure out the class from that name."

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: *nods* In that case, having all of you in second group will prove advantageous. The faster you deal with V'Ku, the faster you can join the main assault.

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: Any suggestions, ideas?

B'Atar@anncarise | Azara: "Azara agrees. The defenders around the station will be easily crushed, but Azara fears the station will not be so easy."

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: And I doubt Scryer will let us capture it by sending the assault teams. He's most likely to self-destruct it once we overpower the main defenses.

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayd: "The station itself isn't as heavily armed as I thought it'd be. A good number of torpedo tubes, but just a handful of Cardassian phaser arrays. Not even the armaments of their old -

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: - stations from before the Dominion War. But it doesn't look to be of Cardassian architecture. It's not of a design or tech I've ever seen."

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: So, we should expect exotic weapons and similar surprises?

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayd: "Yeah, I'd watch out for those. I haven't been able to tell much from these Obsidian Order reports. It's just secrets on top of secrets, coverups of coverups. But I did find that Lokan, -

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: - our current Scryer, was in charge of evaluating this sector for conquest and found a lot of ruins from some long dead but very advanced civilization."

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayd: "It's not a stretch to assume he set up here to repurpose their tech. Or maybe the station was even originally built by these people, whoever they were."

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: Hmmm. Think OSN could slip in some Ghosts inside during the fight?

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: "Big surprise, our sensors can't penetrate the hull. So we don't have much to report beside how big it is."

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayd: "I don't think transporters will work either. Even if they did, without an interior layout, most of our Ghosts are gonna end up inside walls and floors."

[Local] Egzo@HF_Mudd: "So that's a 'no'."

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayd: "I wish it were that easy."

B'Atar@anncarise | Azara: "Azara does not believe sensors will yield any further intelligence on the station. This fleet will have to test the station to see what the station holds."

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: All right, we'll have to cross that bridge when we reach it. I will have bigger ships prepare cloaked assault shuttles with ground teams, once we clear most of ship defenses, we will send them out if-

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: - there are any visible entry points big enough to use.

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: "Sounds like a plan to me."

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: All right, if no ones has any additions or ideas to bring, let's get this started!

B'Atar@anncarise grins, "Time for the fun!"

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --ROUND ONE--

Egzo@HF_Mudd hangs back, under cloak, per the plan (such as it is).

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --SADIA (and assault squadron)'s TURN--

B'Atar@anncarise hangs back as well, and Kayeri Vaj sticks with Thana.

B'Atar@anncarise | The five Colonial Fleet ships, two cruiser size and three destroyers, advances with the main assault force.

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: *IKS Hom Qawwl' leads the main group, as they assemble in three straight lines, one above another, with Hom Qawwl' and two biggest ships in centar of the central line...

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: *center of the middle line

B'Atar@anncarise | The Scryer's defenders reposition into 3 groups to meet the attackers head on, each line led by one of their three cruisers with the Galor in the centre to meet the Hom QawwI'.

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: *this formation makes overlapping/supporting shields, and all launched fighters for now stay in defensive posture, waiting to pounce on targets as first volleys are exchanged*

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: All ships, advance, stay in formation and open focus fire on the enemy leads!

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: *assault group opens fire from their forward weapons*

[Emotes] Sadia@gulremal: rolls 38 (1-100)

B'Atar@anncarise | The enemy ships return fire, the initial blows being largely absorbed by the bigger ships, battering away at their shields but not yet doing enough damage to destroy anything.

B'Atar@anncarise | The three Scryer groups seem to be coordinated differently, each adopting different approaches to the battle. The D'Kora and weavers play it cautiously, the Orion ships go aggressive and -

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: - launch their fighters to advance with corvettes on attack runs, while the Galor, Nausicaan destroyers and Nuhar construct play somewhere midway between these tactics.

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --ROUND TWO--

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --SADIA (and assault squadron)'s TURN--

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: Everyone else will be in on the action soon, don't worry!

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: V'Ku isn't gonna strike until the battle is fully underway is all! hehe

[Team] Egzo@HF_Mudd: Yup, figured.

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: Fighters to intercept orion corvettes! Focus fire on the orion cruiser and nausicaan destroyers, remove the most mobile vessels. Inform me when weavers start deploying their net!

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: *assault groups keep the general formation and targets orion and nausicaan ships, while closest fighter squadrons move in to engage orion corvettes.*

[Emotes] Sadia@gulremal: rolls 12 (1-100)

[Team] Sadia@gulremal: to reroll or not to re rool

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: hehe

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: General Chang's last words before he realized he was out of rerolls

[Team] Sadia@gulremal: i'll keep it

B'Atar@anncarise | The Orion pilots are surprisingly good and keep up with the KDF fighters. The Nausicaan escorts dance with the lighter ships of the assault force, taking some damage but managing to deploy -

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: - power siphon drones which begin draining the power of the ships in the middle line, including Hom QawwI'.

B'Atar@anncarise | Tholian weavers seem to be mostly taking potshots from behind the D'Kora at the moment, and have not attempted to deploy a web yet.

B'Atar@anncarise | As the battle rages on, ships begin to decloak behind the assault force as expected...

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayd: "Seven ships decloaking! Looks like a mix of V'Ku's and some Romulan designs. The Negh'Var's there, along with a Mogai and a Somraw raptor, and four birds of prey."

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayd: "Two Romulan, two heavily modified Klingon ones."

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: "Sounds like our cue to join the party!"

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --KU'JHO'S TURN--

[Local] Egzo@HF_Mudd: "Yeah, but watch out for /another/ trap."

[Local] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: <C> Target inssight, half of the group engage, other half ssstay behind until firssst half hasss engaged, to make sssure no other sssurpissse attack.

Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg rolldice 100

[Emotes] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: rolls 55 (1-100)

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayd: "We can do a tachyon sweep with the Thana, check if there's any other surprises."

[Local] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: <C> Underssstood. We can then call for sssecond half to attack once intel is known.

B'Atar@anncarise | Ku'jho's large Martok-class battlecruiser instantly attracts the attention of the Negh'Var and the Mogai once the attack begins, but they don't manage to do much damage to it and take more hits -

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: - from the powerful ship in return. The Somraw leads the BoPs on an attack run to the flank of the main assault force.

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: "We need to get those raiders off the main squadron!"

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --EGZO'S TURN--

Egzo@HF_Mudd continues to look for good target(s) and wait for the counter-ambush (or counter-counter-ambush, maybe).

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --LORRI'S TURN--

[Team] Egzo@HF_Mudd: In other words, Ku'jho's "second half".

[Team] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: yup. didn't want a chaos state, just a controlled one.

Lorri@crystyll FX | Thana's Interceptor squadrons swarm into the frey while the ship itself hangs back to do the tachyon sweep

[Emotes] Lorri@crystyll: rolls 24 (1-100)

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayeri Vaj assists as well.

[Emotes] B'Atar@anncarise: rolls 17 (1-100)

B'Atar@anncarise FX | No sign of any other ships.

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayd: "We don't see anything, but Romulan ships complicate things. They got more advanced cloaks, but if they were holding them back, you think they wouldn't have shown us any to start..."

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --B'ATAR'S TURN--

B'Atar@anncarise | San'leth goes in to deal with the raiders, trying to sneak in behind one and counter-ambush it.

[Emotes] B'Atar@anncarise: rolls 22 (1-100)

[Team] Sadia@gulremal: master rolls today :)

B'Atar@anncarise | Unfortunately, the modified Klingon birds of prey see through the cloak and peel off to meet the San'leth before the ambush can be sprung, leading into a raider knife-fight...

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --ROUND THREE--

B'Atar@anncarise | The remaining raptor and two Romulan BoPs begin targeting the lighter ships of the assault squadron.

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --SADIA (and assault squadron)'s TURN--

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: Stay in line! Center ships fall back, draw the orion and nausicaan ships in the killzone!

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: *Hom Qawwl' and other ships in central position start going in reverse, as if evading siphon drones and making a cone formation, trying to lure in the more aggresive enemies.*

[Emotes] Sadia@gulremal: rolls 82 (1-100)

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: "Get them into the crossfire!"

B'Atar@anncarise | The Orion corvettes and fighters fall for it immediately, and the Nausicaans get overzealous as well, joining the attack before they are caught in the killzone!

B'Atar@anncarise | The crossfire takes out the Orion corvettes and over half their fighters immediately. One Nausicaan ship takes heavy damage while the last destroyer tries to withdraw back to the Galor.

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --KU'JHO'S TURN--

[Local] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: Tactical, target the Negh ssship and fire quantum torpedo ssspread. Ressst of battle group, enter and engage targetsss.

[Emotes] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: rolls 34 (1-100)

B'Atar@anncarise FX | Most of the torpedo spread are intercepted by point defense guns, but one impacts the Negh'Var, though its shields manage to take the hit.

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --EGZO'S TURN--

Egzo@HF_Mudd has a shot on that 'other' raptor and takes it, dropping out of cloak and opening fire.

[Emotes] Egzo@HF_Mudd: rolls 83 (1-100)

[Team] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: good shot!

B'Atar@anncarise | The raptor, not expecting the attack as it already sent a few BoPs to thwart San'leth's ambush, is hit with the full blunt of Hag'Ihr's volley, losing its shields. The two Romulan birds of prey -

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: - quickly abandon their attack on the main force to help, one staying behind by the raptor while the other goes in to chase Hag'Ihr away.

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --LORRI'S TURN--

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayd: "We might wanna help our Gorn friend with the heavies he's attracted..."

[Local] Lorri@crystyll: "Agreed, moving into position"

Lorri@crystyll FX | Thana turns full on into the mix with a cannon barrage and torp spread against the heavies

[Emotes] Lorri@crystyll: rolls 8 (1-100)

[Team] Lorri@crystyll: ...

[Team] Lorri@crystyll: reroll time

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: Why is it when I run something everyone tends to roll on the low side...

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: Last time with the Relentless Hunter too!

[Emotes] Lorri@crystyll: rolls 47 (1-100)

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: Or maybe the Hunter has a -5 luck debuff because it /is/ in this fight...

B'Atar@anncarise | Thana's fire further weakens the shields of the Negh'Var and takes the Mogai's shields down to 75%. The Romulan ship turns (slowly because it's an early-game Romulan ship...) to deal with the -

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: - new threat.

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayeri Vaj joins the fight, darting in from behind Thana to hit the Mogai before it can bring its weapons to bear.

[Emotes] B'Atar@anncarise: rolls 98 (1-100)

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayeri Vaj swoops in, joining its fire with Thana's and completely disabiling the Mogai's starboard shields as it tries to turn!

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --B'ATAR'S TURN--

[Emotes] B'Atar@anncarise: rolls 38 (1-100)

B'Atar@anncarise continues dancing with the V'Ku raiders, taking a few glancing hits and scoring a few in return, but everyone is still very much in the fight.

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --ROUND FOUR--

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --SADIA (and assault squadron)'s TURN--

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: "Grab the nausicaan ships in tractor beams and finish them off, then focus on the galor and orion cruiser!"

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: *assault ships in the cone area try to catch damaged and escaping nausicaan destroyers and overwhelm them with the crossfire. while the ships still in the line start firing on the orion and -*

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: - cardassian cruiser*

[Emotes] Sadia@gulremal: rolls 50 (1-100)

B'Atar@anncarise | The Nausicaan ships are finished off and the Orion and Cardassian cruisers take some hits as they begin falling back. The D'Kora is less damaged, but joins reversing thrusters with the others.

B'Atar@anncarise --KU'JHO'S TURN--

[Local] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: <looks to his tactical> Tetryon beamsss, overload and fire at will. Don't disssappoint me!

[Emotes] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: rolls 31 (1-100)

[Local] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: *rerolling

[Emotes] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: rolls 26 (1-100)

[Team] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: oh boy what fun day..<throws his dice across the room>

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: Awww

[Team] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: That should fix the issue now though :)

B'Atar@anncarise | With its extensive modifications, the Negh'Var is much tougher than expected of its class. Its shields take heavy hits, dropping down to under 25% now, but still hold under the barrage.

[Team] Sadia@gulremal: i feel ya man. last SW session i almost killed entire team with really unlucky rolls, that new dice system is wierd

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --EGZO'S TURN--

[Team] Sadia@gulremal: but if you roll low doesn't mean you suck, enemy is simple more challenging than originally thought :)

Egzo@HF_Mudd tries to finish off that raptor before looking for another target.

[Emotes] Egzo@HF_Mudd: rolls 90 (1-100)

[Team] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: Yeah, my wife been havin weird dice during games too. Must be the spring in air.

B'Atar@anncarise | Egzo finishes off the raptor, the shots first punching holes through its hull before finally its neck gives way and snaps away from the rest of the ship before its core goes critical and -

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: - scatters what remains through the area.

B'Atar@anncarise --LORRI'S TURN--

B'Atar@anncarise | The Mogai is still turning, because of course it would be.

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: at some point in one of my events we will fight a D'deridex

Lorri@crystyll FX | Thana attempts to hold it facing away from them in a tractor beam while bolstering the cannon barrage with a shield drain from the main deflector

[Emotes] Lorri@crystyll: rolls 95 (1-100)

[Team] Egzo@HF_Mudd: Bam.

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: and I will give it a -50 penalty for any maneuvering based roll

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: and then hilarity will ensue

B'Atar@anncarise | The Mogai is held in a tractor beam, what remains of its shields drained or chipped away...

[Emotes] B'Atar@anncarise: rolls 27 (1-100)

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: Hm

[Emotes] B'Atar@anncarise: rolls 19 (1-100)

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: Nope

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: hahaha

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayeri Vaj joins in the attack, rendering the Mogai completely shieldless and scorching the hull, but not managing to destroy the ship yet.

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --B'ATAR'S TURN--

[Emotes] B'Atar@anncarise: rolls 97 (1-100)

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: Oh /now/ I roll well

B'Atar@anncarise ultimately proves more nimble than the V'Ku raiders, nailing one and sending it to Gre'thor in a flash of fire and antimatter before turning to deal with the remaining one, now mostly bereft of -

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: - shields from the dogfighting.

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --ROUND FIVE--

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --SADIA (and assault squadron)'s TURN--

B'Atar@anncarise | The three cruisers go on the defensive, with only the Relentless Hunter and two Tholian weavers to support them.

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: "Form reverse arrowhead formation, more damaged ships to the center, press the cruisers and weavers. Fighters encircle and prepare to intercept any surprises or tholian nets!"

[Team] Sadia@gulremal: V formation so to speak, damaged ships on the tip "inside"

B'Atar@anncarise | The formation shifts to protect the more damaged ships as they close in to press the remaining enemies. The weavers try to take this opportunity to catch some of the attackers in a net, while -

B'Atar@anncarise - Relentless Hunter intercepts attackers on the Galor.

[Emotes] Sadia@gulremal: rolls 90 (1-100)

[Emotes] B'Atar@anncarise: rolls 71 (1-100)

B'Atar@anncarise | Sadia is prepared for the webs, and the fighters dismantle them as quickly as they are made! The attackers strip away the D'Kora's shields and disables one of the weavers as it tries to fall back

B'Atar@anncarise | Relentless Hunter tries to take out some of the lighter ships, but is chased away, though it takes no significant damage, having apparently been rebuilt to be much tougher for this fight.

B'Atar@anncarise | The Orion cruiser, already heavily damaged from its earlier, more aggressive approach to the battle, crumples under the pressure. Seeing no hope for survival, its captain tries to ram but the -

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: - core explodes before they near the assault squadron.

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --KU'JHO'S TURN--

B'Atar@anncarise | The Negh'Var begins to retreat from the battle...

[Local] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: Tactical, lock tetryon beams on the Negh'Var engines and fire!

[Emotes] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: rolls 56 (1-100)

[Emotes] B'Atar@anncarise: rolls 48 (1-100)

B'Atar@anncarise | The Negh'Var's aft shields fail, and its engines take a few hits, slowing it down. They try to put everything into what remains as the ship continues to fall back...

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --EGZO'S TURN--

Egzo@HF_Mudd engages a raider or two, trying to keep them off Ku'jho's list of problems.

[Emotes] Egzo@HF_Mudd: rolls 57 (1-100)

[Team] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: hah! jus help out the poor ol' dumb lizard man.. ;)

[Team] Egzo@HF_Mudd: You're welcome. :>

B'Atar@anncarise | Egzo grabs the attention of the two Romulan raiders that was following the Somraw earlier, entering a raider dogfight with them.

[Team] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: haha.

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --LORRI'S TURN--

Lorri@crystyll FX | Thana turns its attention towards Relentless Hunter, smashing the defenseless Moggy with broadside cannonfire as it turns away

[Emotes] Lorri@crystyll: rolls 52 (1-100)

B'Atar@anncarise | Thana's broadside cannons punch holes through the Mogai's wing as it turns away to engage the Relentless Hunter with the main force...

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayeri Vaj stays to finish off the Mogai...

[Emotes] B'Atar@anncarise: rolls 65 (1-100)

B'Atar@anncarise | The Mogai's bridge and disruptor controls explode from the inside as torpedoes are beamed through the shieldless hull, followed by Ghosts systematically taking out the remaining, now leaderless -

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: - crew with the assistance of regular boarding parties.

[Team] Sadia@gulremal: hmmmm new ship :)

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: OSN claims it first, we did the blasting for this one!

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --B'ATAR'S TURN--

[Emotes] B'Atar@anncarise: rolls 87 (1-100)

B'Atar@anncarise finishes off the remaining V'Ku raider before speeding off to assist Egzo with his.

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --ROUND SIX--

B'Atar@anncarise | D'Kora and remaining weaver tries to flee and the Relentless Hunter goes to cover their escape, leaving only the Galor, heavily outnumbered, standing alone against the attack force. It makes a -

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: - mad dash for the centre, weapons firing at will as it overloads its warp core...

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --SADIA (and assault squadron)'s TURN--

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: "Everyone in range focus tractor beams at the galor's fore, and repulse it back into the retreating vessels!"

[Emotes] Sadia@gulremal: rolls 85 (1-100)

[Team] Sadia@gulremal: hello there, I think this cooked ship grenade is yours...

B'Atar@anncarise | The entire assault force pushes the Galor into the D'Kora, where it explodes, disabling the Ferengi ship and destroying the weaver. Relentless Hunter breaks away from the main fight, letting -

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: - the main force advance on the station.

B'Atar@anncarise | Sadia gets a hail from the crippled D'Kora, and a cowering DaiMon with his fancy clothes singed tries to surrender.

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --KU'JHO'S TURN--

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: "Very well, we are beaming over troops to secure the vessel, and funny moves and you are space dust."

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: *any

B'Atar@anncarise | DaiMon: "Yes, yes, of course!"

B'Atar@anncarise | Relentless Hunter makes an expertly calculated short-range warp jump appearing closer to the second group to cover the Negh'Av's escape...

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: You do get a D'Kora though! hehe

[Local] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: Keep firing tetryon beamsss at the Negh'Var. Don't let it essscape!

[Emotes] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: rolls 29 (1-100)

[Team] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: ok who switched out my tetryon beams for bb guns...

B'Atar@anncarise | Ku'jho gets a shout from his gunner that the weapons systems aren't responding. And neither are the engines. There's an unidentified virus in the system!

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --EGZO'S TURN--

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: Yeah...the Hunter is a very annoying foe hehe

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: at least it's not Iconian and doesn't open a solar gateway to cook you right after

[Team] Egzo@HF_Mudd: So what's left to shoot at, besides the Hunter, and that Negh'var?

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: Egzo is still dancing with two Rommie BoPs from V'Ku's flankers

[Team] Egzo@HF_Mudd: right, thought I'd ask.

Egzo@HF_Mudd keeps tangling with the Romulan BoPs, since it seems that the G'Quan is indisposed.

[Emotes] Egzo@HF_Mudd: rolls 99 (1-100)

Egzo@HF_Mudd gets one under his guns, finally, a perfect deflection shot... and now there's only one BoP.

B'Atar@anncarise --LORRI'S TURN--

[Team] Sadia@gulremal: egzo+s on a roll today...all that neutronium got him +100 morale boost

[Team] Egzo@HF_Mudd: ha.

B'Atar@anncarise | Relentless Hunter ignores the momentarily disabled G'Quan, turning to meet Thana, its forward antiproton weapon charging up...

[Team] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: Egzo, remind to give you the 'Man of the Mission" reward...

Lorri@crystyll FX | Thana closes on Relentless Hunter and throws everything at it, even the Interceptors who attempt to swarm within it's shield bubble

[Emotes] Lorri@crystyll: rolls 8 (1-100)

[Team] Lorri@crystyll: *sigh*

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: Awww

[Team] Lorri@crystyll: i hate this Hunter...

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: *huuugs*

[Team] Sadia@gulremal: I'm starting to believe that bad luck modifier on Hunter is true

[Team] Egzo@HF_Mudd: me too.

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: It /has/ to be

[Team] Sadia@gulremal: one of the reasons Sadia COMPLETELY IGNORED the bastard in the main assault. "Oh it went full tank? Doesn't he know tanks are useless in this game?"

B'Atar@anncarise | The Hunter manifests its gravitational distortion field, redirecting any torpedoes away from itself as its mini deflector-weapons bolster its shields to take the Thana's cannon fire.

[Emotes] B'Atar@anncarise: rolls 50 (1-100)

B'Atar@anncarise | Thana manages to evade most of its forward AP beam though, only taking a glancing hit on port shields.

B'Atar@anncarise | Luckily Thana is bigger and tankier and can take such a hit without it going through to the hull.

B'Atar@anncarise | Meanwhile, Kayd and her cyberwarfare specialists try to help Ku'jho clean his ship of the Nuhar virus.

[Emotes] B'Atar@anncarise: rolls 79 (1-100)

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --B'ATAR'S TURN--

[Emotes] B'Atar@anncarise: rolls 57 (1-100)

[Team] Warhunter Ku'jho@Domarg: Feel like the pulp fiction 'gimp' on this run..

B'Atar@anncarise swoops in on the Hag'Ihr and remaining Romulan T'liss, bringing down its shields with a barrage of combined polaron and disruptor fire.

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --CLEANUP ROUND--

[Local] B'Atar@anncarise: --EGZO'S TURN--

Egzo@HF_Mudd takes the killshot on the battered old bird, banking away from the explosion.

[Team] Sadia@gulremal: mercy killing

B'Atar@anncarise | San'leth backs away as well, both birds of prey flying clear as the last Romulan warbird is destroyed.

B'Atar@anncarise | In the meantime, Kayd has managed to clear G'Quan of the virus, but the Negh'Var jumps away to warp, leaving only the Relentless Hunter in the field...

[Team] Egzo@HF_Mudd: one sec

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: No worries!

[Team] B'Atar@anncarise: Just doing Hunter stuff in the meantime!

B'Atar@anncarise | The Nuhar construct fires its pulses in all directions, but Thana and G'Quan manage to take the hits, albeit with the occasional subsystem being disrupted.

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayeri Vaj waits out the barrage behind Thana, reinforcing its shields...

B'Atar@anncarise | Relentless Hunter follows the Negh'Var, retreating into the void...

B'Atar@anncarise | It releases some kind of pulse behind it, scattering their warp signature and making it impossible to follow.

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayd: "Well...guess it's just the station now. The Scryer hasn't self-destructed it yet..."

B'Atar@anncarise FX | All ships get a hail from the station.

[Local] Egzo@HF_Mudd: "Let's see what they gotta say."

[Local] Sadia@gulremal: Interesting...open hailing frequencies, but watch for viruses.

B'Atar@anncarise | Kayd: "I'll keep an eye out."

B'Atar@anncarise FX | The Scryer, Eren Lokan, appears on the viewscreens of every allied ship, using his younger clone face...
