Argo is heading to Risa for a summer shore leave! A neighboring fleet is temporarily picking up a large portion of the 38th’s duties, and Command has booked a Risian resort for the fleet’s personnel. Known workaholics in attendance will be forced to submit to unscheduled PADD checks to ensure reading material is all leisurely.

As usual when RPing on public maps, we have some extra things to consider. First and foremost, characters must be Level 10 in-game to access the Risa Summer Resort map. Once you’re there, see the image below for the location of our IC resort and default RP venue. It’s a common spot for RP and we’ve been using it every summer for years, so please try to use local/emotes as usual and be open to non-fleet RPers walking up and interacting.

Instances may also be an issue. You can see which you’re in by looking at the number above the minimap, and change your current instance by clicking on it. Please try to start RP in the same instance as others. Don’t be afraid to ask where people are, or ask them to swap if it’s full. On the flipside, if you’re in a full instance and others can’t get in, consider moving to a different one and resuming your RP there. This may happen frequently, so we’re asking everyone to normalize instance-hopping for inclusiveness!

Mutiny on the Tide

Welcome aboard, honored guests, and thank you for booking Risa Historical Excursions’ ‘Mutiny on the Tide’ experience! For the next hour, you’ll be crew aboard a recreation of an old Earth naval vessel, complete with period dress, as we sail our simulated waters in search of knowledge, treasure, and glory. Your hosts will call for landing parties throughout the voyage by asking for votes on who rows ashore each round. But we’ve added a twist for your entertainment: a few of you have secretly been cast as mutineers, working quietly to see the missions fail and hoarding all the treasure for themselves. Expose the mutineers before it’s too late — the Crown is counting on you!
