Released in both the Starfleet Journal of Science and The Republic Scientific Review as well as newly-published in The Federation Anthropological Journal, The Eledri Re-examined: A Peer Reviewed Genetic and Archaeological Study is a study published by Professor Ahnar i-Rhallan tr'Veras and Commander Thue e-Iuruth t'Xereth.
A follow-up to their initial study on the genetics of the Eledri species, the report is a direct response to the actions of the Eledri government.
Formerly allied with the authors of this paper, the new government of Eledri Prime severed ties with the study when the death of Prime Minister Laozai was attributed to a terrorist inspired by the results original study.
Among other things, the study doubles-down on the results of the original and the claims are bolstered by genetic profile studies from scientists not within the Romulan Republic, in addition to archaeological reviews from scientists within Federation circles. Its opening and closing statements make its purpose clear; to definitively prove that - in what it claims is "an unbiased and unmolested clarity" - the Eledri species is Vulcanoid in origin.
No official response to this paper has yet been published by the government of Eledri Prime.
