Good morning, 38th Fleet.
As most of you have heard by now, Vice Admiral Rilem has accepted a new posting on Sol and I have been transferred here to take his place as commanding officer of all fleet assets. Accordingly, I expect the statistical 'views' counter on my service record to jump as soon as I send this message. Thank you all in advance.
I will keep this brief. I have worked with a few of you already and am generally feeling positive about our situation here. The sheer breadth of tasks that are tackled out here on DS13 and the surrounding regions is daunting, but thus far my reviews of various situations have been reasonably effective in assuring me that we are not in over our heads.
I will note that I will be working with Perim on reviewing and likely restructuring the mobile squadron operations to make minor improvements. Otherwise it will be business as usual for the vast majority of you; Admiral Rilem ran an efficient operation here and I have no desire to break that which is already working.
I look forward to all our upcoming endeavors together.
