LOCATION: Trivas system, Bajor sector.
MISSION: Intel gathering during the meeting between orion criminal Maral and NCR operative Gul Donal (a clone of former Obsidian Operative Ranor Urnal).
OUTCOME: Our forces were detected by Maral's mercenaries before the meeting could take place. In the ensuing battle Maral's forces were defeated but she was not present among the captured mercenaries. NCR ships (two upgraded Galor-class cruisers) tried to intervene and capture escaping orion corvette, but after failing to capture it's occupants, they retreated.

NARRATIVE:
Ad-hoc squadron consisting of IKS Hag'lhr (CAPT Egzo), IKS Barut (CMDR Bara), OSS Thana Vaneri (Tabadi Mysti), IKS San'leth (LT B'atar) and SS Fortune (Alyss) was sent to investigate the Trivas system where a meeting between Blood Queen Maral and Gul Donal was supposed to happen.
As we arrived in the system under stealth, we detected that the old cardassian station, Empor Nor, was active again. It's only remaining fusion reactor was active and was providing power to Ops and it's inner ring. Orion corvette was docked at one of it's upper pylons, and was under full power, most likely ready to act if the meeting went bad. Recent engine trails were detected, leading to an nearby asteroid field, less than minute away from the station under full impulse. No cardassian presence was detected at that time.
After short discussion CAPT Egzo ordered Thana Vaneri and Fortune to approach the station under stealth and prepare for boarding actions. Remaining vessels moved towards the asteroid belt to check it for hidden ships.
During the approach, IKS San'leth triggered a hidden sensor drone which emitted a warning signal.
Five Theta-class raiders emerged from the asteroid field, demanding that the unknown vessels drop stealth and identify themselves. CAPT Egzo ordered the attack and the first volleys from Hag'lhr and San'leth disabled the lead raider. Other vessels from both sides engaged in a dogfight which resulted in the destruction of two Theta-class raiders and retreat of the remaining raiders.
Meanwhile, orion forces on the Empok Nor mobilized and almost a dozen spider-tanks appeared from their hiding holes along the station's inner ring and positioned themselves so they can open fire on the ships fighting near the asteroid belt. Orion corvette undocked and started to move away from the station. Alyss managed to hack some of these tanks, messing up their targeting solutions. Thana Venari launched 1st Interceptor wing in order to engage the tanks, while the ship itself opened fire on the fleeing corvette. Alyss managed to disable communications between Empor Nor Ops and the tanks, however tanks were fully automated and that didn't have effect on their capabilities as they turned their attention on the Interceptor wing. Thana Venari disabled the corvette and launched 2nd Interceptor wing. Orion corvette started to went plasma while a small shuttle undocked and tried to escape.
Thana Vaneri attempted to pursue the shuttle, but at that point damaged corvette ignited wented plasma, causing damage to Thana's forward shileds and disrupted the targeting lock on the shuttle.
At this point, IKS San'leth detected weak signatures similar to old KDF cloaking devices approaching Thana Vaneri's starboard side. 2nd Interceptor wing was immediately ordered to open fire, at which point two Galor class vessels decloaked and opened fire at Thana Vaneri, doing moderate damage to it's starboard section. One Galor moved in between the shuttle and Thana Vaneri/Empor Nor while the second gave chase after the shuttle.
Alyss took full control of automated spider-tanks and attempted to force NCR ships to stand down, but they refused to cooperate. While Hag'lhr, San'leth and Barut were speeding up (after defeating the raiders near asteroid belt) to support Thana Vaneri, fire was exchanged between the Thana and one of the Galors. Second Galor caught the fleeing shuttle with the tractor beam, at which point holographic disguise fell and shuttle was actually a modified orion drone. After sending a derisive message (most likely from Blood Queen Maral herself), drone self-destructed. At that point, unnamed cardassian commander expressed their disinterest in further combat and both ships fled before rest of us arrived.
After orion tanks and prisoners from the station were transported to our ships, we left the system under stealth just as federation patrol arrived to investigate the scene.
RECOMMENDATION: As long as Blood Queen Maral tries to make deals with our local enemies, she will continue to be a threat. I suggest more aggressive pursuit and removal of her assets in the local sectors, especially of her "legal" businesses within Cardassian Union. She must not be allowed to get a strong foothold there, or it will spell all kind of troubles for us in the long run.
