LOCATION: Orion sector
MISSION: Meet up and escort of KDF convoy to SB 151.
OUTCOME: Convoy was attacked by the orion pirates. The attack was repelled with the assistance of the allies from the Starfleet and the Republic Navy. One freighter was lost, one Marauder-class battleship is captured.

NARRATIVE:
IKS Daramar (CAPT Cynis) and IKS Hag'lhr (CAPT Egzo) were dispatched to meet up and escort the convoy carrying important supplies to SB 151. As we reached the Orion sector, we received a distress call from FMS Premium (SRFC T'vek), informing us that the convoy is under attack.
We managed to contact USS Valley Forge and were informed by her commander (CAPT Se'Lai) that they are already moving in to defend the convoy. As we reached the site of the attack, USS Valley Forge and RRW Iurret (CMDR Lovoran) were already engaged in battle with large orion pirate force consisting of four corvettes, two Marauder-class battleships and one Corsair-class carrier.
We joined the battle and defeated the enemy force relatively quickly. However, enemy was unyielding in their efforts and they managed to destroy one of the freighters and damage another one. Valley Forge managed to rescue the crew of the first freighter and they were later transferred to FMS Premium. We captured one of the Marauder-class battleships while RRW Iurret secured one disabled corvette. After the repairs on the damaged freighter, convoy was successfully escorted to SB 151.
RECOMMENDATION: Captured enemy battleship is to be thoroughly searched for any intel regarding the attacker's identity and motive for this attack. Same is to be done with any captives. Possible connection between the attacker and Blood Queen Maral must be further investigated. We cannot allow the forming of an another front against our efforts in the Zenas Expanse.
All acquired intel should be corroborated with our Starfleet and Republic allies at the earliest convenient time.
