Not used to reports. Off the record has always been to my advantage, but I'd say this warrants an official report, such as it is.
Today, we went hunting for a Breen secret base, and found something rather unexpected... a space monster.
It appears to live in a subspace layer, and whatever the Breen were doing, they managed to REALLY make it mad... or hungry, or both.
Seems it has been chewing on Breen ships for several days now, and we saw it eat a Chael Bolg cruiser in one bite.
It also seems to be disrupting sensors and subspace in the region, that or whatever attracted it is doing so.
We have flagged several neighboring systems for investigation. Perhaps we can find out why this rather hungry and scary ship eating worm is there, and whether the Breen are trying to weaponize it, or weaponize whatever attracted it
