NARRATIVE RRW Tebok was assigned to the Rator III system to investigate potential Imperial activity within the system. Additionally, it was instructed to establish contact with an intelligence team operating within the system.

Contact was established with the team on Rimward Station. S/CDR Torak indicated there were three Imperial teams operating on the station. Two of the three had apparently been interned by Rimward Logistics’ security forces.

A presumed attempt by Rator III to rescue the teams occurred. A vessel, the SS Lament, began suffering large power fluctuations that were well outside its operating parameters. Meanwhile, gravimetric distortions near the station suggested a cloaked vessel. The attempt to rescue the interned Rator III teams ended in failure. Rimward Logistics further directly requested the Imperial teams to withdraw from the station. Further, the power fluctuations on the SS Lament dissipated post-haste.

Information, however, indicated one of the Imperial teams chose to remain on the station. Further, information acquired indicated Rator III assembled these teams in haste. S/CDR Torak’s team avoided exposure and, following a fourteen hour holding period, will resume acquiring information on the station. Additionally, RRW Tebok personnel have ensured the SS Lament’s movements will be tracked.

RECOMMENDATION Rator III would not send agents, especially after a major conflict, into the field unless they had a good reason. Further inquiry into Rator III’s interest in Rimward Logistics should be conducted. Additionally, an investigation into Rimward Logistics activity should be conducted. Additionally, monitoring the SS Lament’s movements may prove instrumental for future investigation.

RECOGNITION LCDR Aurelia is recognized for acquiring vital information on the Rator III teams operating on the station. Evoch is recognized for planting a tracker on the SS Lament and ensuring vital sensor information was acquired.
