MISSION Sabotage and Destruction of Point Valdore, a Key Romulan Star Empire military installation
OUTCOME Mission success. Point Valdore destroyed and a substantial number of enemy ships disabled.

NARRATIVE Vessels RRW D’Ishae, RRW Vulleth, and RRW Tebok departed, under cloak, for the temporarily occupied sector of Rator III. Acting on the outline of Operation Soaring Raptor, vessels stopped considerable distance away from the enemy installation. From there, involved personnel embarked on a small Kestrel Runabout with minimum munitions and personal weaponry.
CDR Davin skillfully navigated the kestrel runabout, under cloak, through a large group of Star Empire warships along with the Tachyon defense grid used to protect the station. CDR Davin then docked the Kestrel runabout in the habitat ring of the station. From there, this officer, SCDR Mabruk, and CDR Salil embarked onto the station.
Avoiding detection and using cover identities provided by Romulan Intelligence, personnel successfully reached main engineering. A plan of sabotage was enacted, where in this officer and SCDR Mabruk would provide ‘cover’ while CDR Salil sabotaged the singularity core for timed destruction. While the enemy did not discover the sabotage, their guards proceeded to become suspicious of this officer and SCDR Mabruk.
Exposure was avoided thanks to CDR Salil, but the ensuing conversation caused us to lose valuable time. Personnel were unable to reach the runabout before the singularity core went critical, meeting personnel had to disembark via another path. SCDR Mabruk identified an escape pod in the vicinity, which was used to evacuate the station before it exploded.
From their, CDR Davin located us and brought us back to the motherships.
RECOMMENDATION With Point Valdore destroyed, enemy operations are likely to be crippled for some time. Ongoing operations in Tri’Vokil, as well as against the Ancient Regime, can now be achieved without significant impunity.
RECOGNITION All involved personnel performed effectively as a unit. CDR Davin was instrumental in allow us to reach Point Valdore. CDR Salil was instrumental in sabatoging the singularity core. And SCDR Mabruk was critical in helping personnel navigate this enemy base and allowing us to escape when complications arose at the end. These officers serve are the RRF’s finest.
