MISSION Capture the Sienae System.
OUTCOME Failure to capture the Sienae System, The USS Endeavour and Pegasus engaged four Imperial Warbirds and a Q ship. While the Sienae defenders were occupied, Blackjack Squadron engaged and destroyed an Imperial Task Force enroute to reenforce the Sienae system. Sienae system now under Starfleet blockade.

NARRATIVE The Pegasus and the Endeavour made an approach for the Sienae System, detecting five ships forming up a defense, as Blackjack Squadron engaged a nearby Task Force, a hail was opened to the Commander of the Sienae system as an attempt to convince them to leave peacefully was made and was refused. The Endeavour deployed the USS Bark as Pegasus deployed her airwing upon arriving in system and engaging three of the ships.
The Pegasus and the Endeavour focused upon the lead vessel of the defense system as the Bark and the Pegasus Airwing took on the other two vessels, one being a converted Cargo vessel outfitted with weapons, designated a Q ship, the Pegasus Airwing took heavy losses to the Q-ship’s point defense systems and was forced to withdraw, meanwhile the Endeavour was attacked by two more Imperial Warbirds that decloaked in the battle.
Both the Endeavour and the Pegasus took heavy fire to the shields, the Romulan commander hailed us once more to push for us to depart, as the commanding officer of the attack, the call was made to accept the chance to withdraw in the face of unfavorable tactical conditions and a ceasefire was agreed between the two sides, allowing Pegasus to collect survivors before withdrawing from the System.
Meanwhile the Blackjack Squadron was successful in destroying the Imperial Task Force that was enroute to reenforce the Sienae system, allowing the squadron to move in and begin blockading the system.
RECOMMENDATION The Imperial Forces have begun to deploy converted Cargo vessels to booster their ranks, these Q-ships are a great danger to any Captain unprepared for such engagement and recommend all Starfleet and allied forces engaged in the war to be cautious when encountering Imperial Cargo vessels.
RECOGNITION While the battle was in unfavorable tactical conditions, all involved served with grace and valor under fire.
