NARRATIVE A routine patrol of the contested Tafor System led to a very light skirmish and verbal discussion between the vessels Birk and D’Ishae; and leads Izly and an unknown Romulan. Both vessels were actually very evenly-matched; only ever resulting in removing the others’ shields before returning exactly to the same position before.
This continued until the USS Dallas made entry due to the fight being picked up on sensors, who was respectable enough to stay out of combat range, but also didn’t do much beyond request we vacate the system…beyond such, only a continued stalemate was reached until a sensor reading indicating an unknown large vessel en-route caused both sides to somewhat agree to ‘shake on it’ and leave the system for the time being to avoid whatever might appear.
RECOMMENDATION Fairly close to a No Action Necessary, but it should be noted to be mindful of any vessel sporting a cloaking device of sorts- these Romulans seem very fond of them
